Work was done to my satisfaction.

Very good the bid was accurate, they showed up the day they said they would left the house cleaned up and no issues.

It was good. It took them a while to get to my house because of scheduling issues on both end. They weren't really pushing sales on me, it's just more of personal thing. They came out and did the scan, recommended what we need to do kind of exactly what I wanted.

Very curteous, gave me lots of information on ways I could make my home more energy efficient. Will iuse them when im ready for some weatherizing on my home again.. N

Called and arranged for preliminary look at location. Then, made appointment for installation, showed up on time, installed solar attic fan, checked it out and continues to work fine. Very professional job. Very highly recommended.

From beginning to end, it was great. Kevin came to my house right on time. He was absolutely great. He was professionally dressed with a company logo on his shirt. He told me exactly what he planned to do. He went up into my attic, inspected the insulation and took pictures to show me what R factor I had existing. He then gave me recommendations to make my home more energy efficient. He suggested the amount of R rating I needed in my attic to give me the best possible savings. Not to mention, it would be far more comfortable in my home. I saw the pictures of the inside of my attic and he told my what my R factor currently was at. We then set up an appointment for my solar powered attic fan to be installed on my roof. Doug then came out; he called first to let me know he was on the way. If Doug is representative of all of their service people, this company will far exceed their goals. He parked on the street (that is their rule) and showed me the attic fan before he began installation. He explained everything to me from A - Z. He answered every question I had and left me paperwork with the explanation of what the fan does. He went to work and in no time, had done the installation. He then went back up on the roof and took pictures so I could see where and what he had done. I am more than pleased with the outcome. I will DEFINITELY use this company again. They are wonderful. I think the product is great (Honeywell) and the customer service is the best of the best!!!

Keith was great very friendly and knowledgeable. He did the thermal energy audit and offered some suggestions & estimates for ways to make the house more energy efficient.

On the first trip A+ removed the old insulation from my attic which went well. They arrived on time and were careful to keep the mess to a minimum. It appeared to be a dirty and difficult task which was completed before the end of the day. A+ returned to reinsulate about 6 weeks later. This second visit also went well. They built a dam around the attic access to keep the insulation from falling out through the access and also sealed all the openings in the attic. They blew in the insulation as requested and did so with little mess. After the reinsulate, my house seems to be staying cooler and the air conditioner is running less.

We met with A+ for an entire house air leak inspection and spoke with them about adding insulation to a room where we expanded the wall as well as the sump pump room in the basement. They were very professional throughout the entire process and offered options for us (different types of insulation). They gave us a fair price on the insulation in the two areas we discussed, set up an appointment within 2 weeks, and showed up promptly to complete the job. We have been very satisfied with the end results including our warmer house during the winter months!

The experience was fine except that I thought that they were none competitive in what they wanted to solve my problem for so I did it a whole lot cheaper. They were very good and provided a good service. They were thorough and got some pictures. I needed some insulation work and I just thought that they are none competitive.

The job took only three or four hours. The "prep" work took most of the time. Blowing in the insulation only took an hour.

They showed up very close to the time they told me they would. They took great care in walking me through everything they were doing and took before and after pictures to show what they accomplished. I am happy with their work and I can already notice that even with the extreme heat we are having the air conditioner is not working as long and hard as it used to. I think the price was a little high but in the end the work was done as expected and the outcome was excellent.

After purchasing the solar powered attic fan, a staff member came to check out the job and make sure they had the needed equipment, ie extra tall ladder to get into attic opening. He discovered that there was no insulation over the garage, taking photos to show me. I wanted to cool the garage which would get extremely hot in the summer. The fan would move the air, but I would need insulation added to keep the garage cooler. I agreed and was able to get an additional discount for being an Angie's member. The installation date was only a week later. The crew called prior to arriving for scheduled appointment. They were on time. The installation crew was very courteous and requested to place the fan in a different location due to structures in the attic. This change would not make any difference in the cooling function. I was given photos of the same areas after the job to show the fan and new insulation that was installed. The work was completed before noon. Now that our weather has warmed to more normal for July, it is easy to tell that the garage is cooler than before. Since no ac is pumped into the area it would never be cool as inside the house, but it now is comfortable to work in the garage in the summer. Cast was divided between fan and installation $375 and additional insulation bringing area to R38 value $600

The first contact was the estimator who used his time with me to try to sell several other products. I do resent paying someone to do a sales pitch. What he suggested was spot on but I could do all that much cheaper. He also suggested one vent might not do the job. We set the time for the installation. My apologies to the technician because when he came out my new, docile dog suddenly became aggressive & tried to bite him. She does not like service men, it seems. Because I had to tend to the dog & keep them separate I was out & about in the yard & house. Based on the estimator's info he brought a single ladder. The spot he (installer) chose to place the vent was about three feet lower than ideal because that was as far as he could reach. In retrospect I should have not OK'ed the placement & had him return with several ladders or a scaffold & put the unit where it would be more efficient. The unit is pretty ugly & is very low on my deckside roof. It is perhaps 1 foot above my attic floor and should be at the apex, about 4 feet from the attic floor to draw hot air more efficiently. Because I have plenty of roof vents (above it) it will work but thermally backassward. I did OK the placement because I needed the job finished. I have a steep roof. The install has survived several severe storms with no leakage. It seems to be working fine. I have not compared electric bills & will know if my money was well spent later. If I buy a new roof while living here I will have it moved. Nice people, good (ugly) product, my fault if it's not ideal. If you have a steep roof,make sure the estimator knows where you want the unit

The crew arrived on time; came in and worked professionally thru the house and attic. Took pictures Afterwards. Cleaned up and finished on time, approx. 4 hours.

I bought a big deal to have the attic inspected. The gentleman who came out was on time and professional. He took pictures to show me the light shining throurgh the ceiling into the attic - meaning the can lights were not sealed and there was very little insulation. He talked me through several options including leaving it "as is" without pressure or jargon I didn't understand. I decided to have them upgrade me to just above current code level because I will likely sell my house in a few years and I want to have that on the listing. The insulation team arrived on time and explained all the steps to me before they started. They did a good job of protecting my floors, walls and clothes (my access is in my closet). They took more pictures when they finished so I could see the difference. They cleaned up when they were done and left everything in good shape; my floors were actually cleaner after they left than they were before!! . It took about half a day overall.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went pretty well. We got a bid from them for an attic ceiling job and blown-in insulation and an estimate for a roof bed too which is $550. Basically we accepted the bid minus the roof bed and then purchased the roof bed from Angie's List and saved $75. As far as for the roof bed, there wasn't any extra charge. It was a good experience. They put down protective coating on the floors of the house and stuff so when the workers walked in and out, they wouldn't track dirt and stuff so that was nice. Other than that, they got it done quickly, it didn't take a lot of our time.

They finished yesterday, but everything is so far so good. They gave me an estimate on the insulation in the attic. The price seemed reasonable so I will probably go ahead with what they suggested. They were very professional, courteous and they were not fishy at all. I felt that their recommendations were honest and not trying to sell me something that I did not need. I was pretty happy with it overall. I thought that it was a really good value. I will use them again.

The company sent out an installation surveyor and determined the extent of the job. He was very nice and showed me where and how they would install the fan. He answered all of my questions and concerns and set up the installation. The installer showed up and went right to work installing the fan and answering all my questions, ie. will this leak and how will they seal the opening, etc. I have been keeping watch on the opening, for any leaking but since they used an existing opening, I feel good about the installation. I was very pleased and impressed with the service and the cost.

This company was very helpful. I do plan to enlist their services in the future.

A+ Insulation was a little bit misleading because it was only for a very small amount of insulation which I ended up in a lot more for this but I was pleased with their service. I ended up having to get a lot more than I even know I did sum up there. Soo that was one of deals that was a little misleading. A+ Insulation did a good job. Once I realize that that I could have just not move forward but I did want to get the insulation so I did decide to go ahead.

We had to pay more outside the deal. They did an audit; they went over the whole house and looked for places where they thought there was air leaks and then they identified problems and then ultimately we used them to address those issues and so the follow up service, of course, was something that we had to pay additional for. The person in charge definitely knew the business and what needed to be done. He had a handful of people working with him. At least, one of the people on his crew was not experienced and when I checked behind the work I thought it was terrible. An example was we had them blow additional insulation in our attic and it was supposed to be to a certain level. And he went out to keep a consistent amount of insulation and I went in there and it looked like the topography of Mt. Everest. I mean it was high and low and divided. It was just terrible. There had been no quality check. If I had stuck my head up in there and looked at it I think they would have walked away. When I said, “This looks terrible” and then he stuck his head up and he said, “Oh! Yeah. I’m so sorry” and they fixed it. So he is very responsive but I work in professional service, so I do technology but at the same time I still have to be responsible for delivering good product and the last thing I ever want is the customer to catch me doing a sub standard job. I have a crew too but it’s still my job to ensure that they’re doing what they’re supposed to do. So I shouldn’t have been catching that. So that was one example. In the basement they put sealants between the foundation and the house, where the house actually sits on the foundation. It was okay. I felt like they were sloppy. I mean they got it in. It did what it was supposed to do. But later on I’m pulling drippy, foamy, stuff that’s hardened off of things like the floor or anything that was underneath it. It could have been better. Again they were responsive. At the end of the day, they did what they were supposed to but I was very disappointed on the fact that I had to go behind them and check the quality of their work and then tell them, “I’m not happy with this. You need to do better.”

Excellent. They provided a detailed estimate and outline of the work to be performed ahead of time, scheduling the work was easy, and they completed the job as described, cleaned up after they were finished and made sure we were satisfied with the work they did.

Great job. They cleaned up; staff was polite and professional. Took photos before and then again after to show what they completed.
