They arrived on the scheduled day and were very professional. I accidentally over paid and without a phone call from me I received a refund check in the mail. I appreciated their honesty!!

Excellent!! They are very punctual. Actually even a little early which we smile upon, very clean and just very polite and nice guys. They were here I think Friday. Again, my husband takes care of that (cost of service). I want to say I think $2400 or so. I think that was it was.

Jeff came out on time and gave me a competitive estimate and took pictures to show me exactly what they wanted to do. I was able to schedule the work for 2 days later. When they showed up the team was very curtious and respectful. The work was done quickly and they protected my house so that you can't even tell they were there. I was provided with pictures at the completion of the project and feel that the work was done very well.

Keith came on-time to do the scan and was very helpful in explaining what was and what was not a real issue. He gave us solutions we could do ourselves rather than pushing more expensive alternatives. In the end he gave us a comfort that we can make some do-it-ourselves fixes but if we wanted to do a more major insulation job he also gave us a price for that. If we decide to do any insulation work we'll definitely give Keith at A+ a call!

My husband looked, A + Insulation, up on the computer, from Edwardsville, KS, and I was glad he picked them! They called and talked to us, they found out what we needed, their sales rep. Jeff, came out and talked to us. Jeff went over everything with us after going in the attic and checking everything out. Jeff made sure we understood everything, he was a very nice person. We called them and told them we decided to go with their company. They were on time, covered everything in our home, they laid plastic down to cover all the floors. There were three gentlemen that came to do the project, they were, Doug, Kurt, and Jason, the three men were very nice, they even told me happy Valentines Day when they came in, they then told me exactly what they were going to do, they took things off the walls, and moved furniture from the walls. We don't have a basement, so all the water pipes are in the attic, and our home was built in the 40's, so the men had some challenges with the attic and the pipes but they managed it very well, one of the men tripped over a pipe, and the pipes are brittle, (they are being replaced this week), but the pipe broke, Kurt was a fast thinker, he put his finger in the hot water pipe and stopped the water until it could be turned off, Jason of the crew is also a plumber and he had the pipe fixed in less then 15 minutes, now that is service! Three of the exterior walls couldn't be insulated, and since they broke one of the pipes they called their office, and gave us a discount for the trouble, so the total cost was only $2251.36, a discount of $1427.36, not bad. They placed all the things back on the walls the way I had them, and they moved all the furniture back in place, and they asked me if everything looked ok before they left, and it looked great. I would use this company again, and I would highly recommend them to any. One more thing, Jason the plumber of the crew, even came by on his way home to make sure the pipe was ok.

I was a little upset by this deal. I felt it was very misleading. The energy audit was efficient but there were a lot of hidden cost they did not bring up.

It was great. I missed our first appointment. They were totally understanding and they rescheduled. He did a very thorough estimate so I'm just working on putting all my money together to make it happen. I was very impressed. He went through the house to tell me where I'm loosing my heat. He came on one of the coldest days of the year and there was air coming in everywhere. He was great and he still is in contact with me to schedule all the work.

Mr. Keith Custer gave me a totally honest response to the problem. He informed me that their was an adequate amount of insulation already and that the ventilation issue was not the problem. The problem was with the weather temperatures and the constant freezing and refreezing of the snow causing layers of sheet ice in addition to another snow storm back to back. He suggested that my son in law and daughter purchase a roof rake and longer ladder to clear the snow before the problem happens again and or purchase and install those roof heaters and have them distributed on thier roof. He stated it was just a once in a while kind of thing that happens when it snows. This company is not in business to make money at the expense of exploiting their customers and I can truly appreciate that type of honesty in a company these days. I would do business with this company anyday and I would recommend their Energy Efficiency Auditing Services. They are truly pfofessionals.

The Project Estimator (Jeff Kuhn) was my first contact. He set a time to evaluate my needs regarding attic sealing and insulation. He showed up on time and gave me a detailed description of what needed to be done. He gave two costs, one to bring attic insulation up to code in this area (R-38) and another cost to bring it up to R49, the preferred amount for optimum energy conservation. Due to money concerns, I choose to go to R38. The date of insulation and sealing was set. The men showed up on time. The house was prepared by putting plastic sheeting on the floor and furniture. The work was done as agreed. The On site Supervisor Dorian Seats did an excellent job describing what was being done and why. After the job was done, he went through and told me what all had been done and provided before and after pics. It was interesting to see some of the large holes around some of the vents before their sealing. I requested a few extra vent baffles were provided at no extra cost. I had talked to a couple energy auditors before contracting with A+ and they had given them great recommendations

All work was done in 1 day and the crew was very professional. The ac unit in my house was able to "keep up" for the first time since we had it installed. House is able to stay at constant temperature even on hottest days. Cost of install will likely be recouped over next 5 years due to reduced utilities cost. The entire project went off without any problems. They took pictures, showed what they would do, then followed it up with an outstanding install.

The initial visit was conducted by Keith. I had used another company for an energy audit so I was well prepared. Keith was extremely professional and thorough. I told him my concerns, and he addressed all of them and identified a couple of others. Within 24 hours, Keith provided a detailed estimate, breaking the work down into six line items, each containing details of the problem, the work to be done, and the insulation solution. We agreed a mutually convenient time for the work. We had some discussion on incentives and as I was able to start the work almost immediately, I got what I think was an excellent deal. The work was done by a team of four. The team leader Dorian called me to say that they were on the way and they arrived promptly at 8am on Day 1. The first day was spent in removing old batt and preparing for the blown in blanket system work; installation of the mesh and drilling holes in the walls where necessary. The team were very careful to prepare the work spaces, put down plastic sheet to protect the floors, and cleaned up as they moved around the house. We certainly noticed how cold the house was after the removal of the old batt and before the installation of the new insulation. On Day 2 the same routine prior to arrival. The team worked without much of a pause. They seemed to be all over the place at once, but clearly had a careful work plan and stuck to it. I was regularly walking around and they were always happy to explain to me what was happening and why. The Operations Manager, Billy, arrived on the afternoon of Day 2 to check on progress. The team continued to work until about 5.30pm. The final clean up was very thorough, including removal of blow in material from the yard. I noticed a couple of items that needed follow on work after the team left. Keith responded to my request almost immediately, and I have arranged for that work to be done on 30 January. Overall I was completely satisfied with the service provided by A+ Insulation. I never felt pressured into buying more than I needed, the on-site work was excellent, and the follow up work will be promptly. Keith, Billy, Dorian, James, James, and Victor were extremely professional and courteous throughout.

They covered up the carpeting and furnishings and performed the work satisfactorily. There was a miscommunication between the office and field personnel about how much insulation was to be installed (R60 vs. R49) but the home office acknowledged that it was supposed to be R60 and rescheduled the crew to come back out and complete. When the first amount of insulation was completed (to R49 level), I paid A+ approximately half of what was owed, and the remaining amount once the R60 level was completed. The only thing I was disappointed with is that they did not have a cover to fit over the whole house ceiling fan. This was not A+ fault as the location of the fan adjacent to a light fixture made it impossible to utilize a pre-manufactured cover.

They were very professional, making sure the areas were protected before beginning, and also made sure everything was cleaned up when they were finished. They showed comprehensive photos of the attic before and after the work. Everything went smoothly and we are pleased with the results. The house seems to stay warmer much better and is less drafty than before the work.

The truck is barely out of the driveway as this evaluation is being written. Their name says it all--A+! They were prompt, professional, and helpful. They started and completed the job within the time frame indicated. One if the most outstanding features was the use of a camera to keep me appraised of the work in progress as well as upon completion! They maintained a clean work place. The final walk through with me was thorough.

I used them, because I previously used them to seal and re-isulate my attic. I was impressed with their professionalism and quality work.

Went well but Mr. Mike O'Hara, who did estimate, said I didn't need the original service I bought and would recommend refund.

Overall, I am very pleased with A+ Insulation. I met with Jeff, Project Estimator who was very thorough during the inspection of my home. He was extremely knowledgeble of the insulation products, took time with me to explain and develop the best plan and intallation types for the various areas. He even took the time to seperate out the different areas of work thus, creating "packages" with estimates of work for phasing purposes. The Infrared Scan was a valuable tool to see. Great customer service! I received everything that was included in Angie's List package.

The installation was a coordinated effort with adding a new roof and A+ Insulation was accommodating to changes in schedule of the roofing job. Upon completion of the roof, the A+ installation date was set and their crew was punctual, professional, cleaned up job site and addressed all concerns identified on the walk through.

They did a good job on the evaluation and gave me some good advice.

Very thorough and professional. Prompt quote package including pictures and details. Ended up not purchasing the recommended insulation installation, but was a very good interaction.
