I got bids from three different companies to do the work and decided to go with Steve's Flooring after reading all of the positive reviews on Angie's List. Steve came to our house with carpet samples, measured the flooring, and provided an estimate for the work to be performed. He did a good job communicating the pros/cons of different carpet and pad options. We were able to schedule the install about three weeks after deciding to go with Steve's Flooring. The installers arrived on time and were very professional. They communicated with me regularly on their progress. All of the work was done to my full satisfaction including the furniture moving, carpet/pad removal, screwing down loose floors, install new pad/carpet, and clean-up. We were very satisfied with the entire process and would use Steve's Flooring again if the need arises.

Steve was professional, accommodating, and quick in handling my carpet stretching. He explained that they don't normally handle that sort of job, but he made it happen...same day! His workers were efficient and friendly. They did excellent work. I highly recommend Steve's Flooring!

Steve came out and showed us several different styles and price ranges of stair carpet. After looking a couple of times we picked the style we wanted. The price was competitive and Steve was recommended by other people we know. The company that installed our iron spindles also recommended Steve. The installers that came to install did a great job and did the install just as I had requested. I will check with Steve next time I need carpeting.

Steve first visited us to assess our desires. Based on the input we provided him, he selected several samples for our consideration. We selected the carpets we wanted, & explained that we first needed to have wallpaper removed, then paint applied to these rooms before he could start. This process took longer than we expected, so afterward, we had Steve stop by so we could double-check our initial decisions, which he did willingly. The work was scheduled for one day, but it took longer than originally estimated to complete, so the installation crew was here until 8 PM that evening. In any case the quality of the job was excellent. Steve Hirschi is a great guy - we would definitely have him back for other carpeting work.

I sent Steve a message through Angie's List. He called me almost immediately. We set up an appointment for him to come to the house with samples. He arrived exactly when he said he would. I didn't have firm ideas about what I wanted; Steve made several suggestions and pointed out which suggestions cost more and which cost less. He helped select the carpet, stair carpet (the stair carpet is to die for!!), and the tile for the bath. The installers were very nice young men. They worked very hard, were neat, cleaned up perfectly when they were finished. They didn't even take a lunch break, but my husband brought lunch to them and we made them stop to eat. They were very professional and friendly, They removed all the old carpet and padding and did all the furniture moving. I highly recommend Steve. I promise you won't go wrong when you are in the market for new flooring.

Being able to look at all the carpet samples in the room to be newly carpeted was so handy and made it so much easier to pick out a color. Steve was very helpful and patient. I had already priced carpet at two retail stores, so I was pleased with Steve's price and set a date that worked with my work schedule. Steve told me they would be at my house between 9 and 10 a.m. and they arrived at 9:15 a.m. They were friendly, professional, and efficient. They were cleaning up and vacuuming my new carpet a little after 12 p.m. I was impressed by the small amount of carpet that was left over.

They were professional, efficient, completed the job in the estimated time frame. Steve brought tile samples to ny home to review which was helpful and remained true to the original bid. They did an excellent job of cleaning up as well. Very good experience.

This was the 2nd time I have used Steve and just like the first was an excellent experience. Steve came and met us at our house to talk thru the project and we could look at samples of the carpeting inside our house with the lighting and furniture. He was very knowledgable in suggesting a few different styles and looks. Steve provided an estimate on the spot for all the work. Steves team showed up on two different occasions for the work based on our schedule and his team arrived on time, did the work quickly and effeciently with perfect cleanup afterwards. Great experience and will use him again in the future.

Steve responded immediately to our call. He met with us and toured our home which is listed for sale. We thought that we needed to replace existing carpet which had recently been installed. If you EVER NEED to PURCHASE CARPETING, this is the firm and owner to use. He is incredibly knowledgeable and HONEST. He said that we had installed a very high quality carpet, much better than other sellers would use. He said that he didn't think it needed any changes or improvements. We cannot recommend Steve more highly. He has impeccable ethics and values. #1.

Steve came out to talk to us back in March and was great. He was professional and eager to help us choose the best carpet for our needs. He gave us a fair and reasonable price. After we had time to save for the project we called Steve back and remembered us. We had the entire project completed in a day. Rob and his crew who installed the carpet were great. They were very friendly and courteous of the house. They did a great job in cleaning up afterwards. The work was very good and I could tell they payed attention to detail when installing the carpet. I would highly reccomend this company to someone who wants a quality product and install.

We talked to three different carpet installers before choosing Steve's Flooring. His prices and products impressed up the most, so we decided to use him for replacing the carpet in our home. He came out to our house with samples to decide on which product we wanted to use. He was very professional and knowledgable about the type of product our family might need. I had chosen a carpet to be installed in that first meeting, but after a couple of days of comparing the sample he had left me to our decor I decided it wasn't the best choice. Steve quickly made another trip back to us (we live a little ways from his main area) so that I could choose a different product. His installers were very quick and professional. Our carpet looks great!

Excellent service. Called Steve as he came recommended by our realtor. He was out the next day with samples and was able to work up a quote on the spot. Very professional, knowledgeable, timely, and prices competitively. Installers came on the agreed day and did a good job.

I contacted Steve Hirschi of Steve's Flooring based on customer reviews. At first he was reluctant to come to my area as I live in Grain Valley, Mo. I pointed out that according to the Angies List my area is covered by his business. He then said he has done work in Blue Springs, Mo and I explained that I was just East of Blue Springs. This seemed to clear up any distance problem he may have had with my location. Steve arrived on time for his appointment with me and brought plenty of samples of carpet and laminate flooring with him and was very good at helping me to select the proper laminate style for my kitchen and entryway and carpeting for the rest of my house. I must say Steve is very honest and up front and will answer all questions you ask him or tell you he doesn't know the answer to a question rather than give an incorrect answer in order not to look foolish. Very refreshing in the current business environment. Also, I found Steve to be very courteous and professional upon meeting him in person. The installers who did the work were first rate and did excellent work. I was very pleased with the overall quality of the materials and installation. In fact, everything turned out much better than I had hoped for. I would recommend Steve's Flooring, Inc for all cities in the counties he covers in the Metro area.

It went very well, they were right on time, worked hard, did an awesome job. The carpet looked fantastic. They are very professional, personable, friendly and they did the job in good time. It went very well. He came in to the house first to assess what would be appropriate options and then brought in selections. He was spot on, however he was also more than willing to bring in as many options as we needed. The installers were courteous and professional and did a great job. We would definitely use them again.

Moved all the large furniture; disassembled and reassembled to do so. Finished in 1 1/2 days, which was what we were told to expect. They finished the project with the price that was quoted.

I have had my house on the market for nearly a year. I called Steve about replacing the carpet so that I could prepare to rent the property out. He was very knowledgeable about the best options for rental properties, and he presented low cost, good quality options. Since the carpet I chose was in stock, he and his crew were able to install and completely finish the job the very next day. Two days later, I had an offer on the house. I am super satisfied. I will definitely use Steve's Flooring again in the future.

Steve came out to give us his bid. He was punctual and brought several samples with him. He was also professional. We are fixing up our large house to sell and he encouraged us to change up the color scheme to reflect what buyers are choosing now. Our house was built 11 years ago, when carpet colors were usually off-white. He also suggested we put berber on the stairs and landing that had a design in it. We did and are extremely satisfied with his ideas. I am thankful he had the insight to make the suggestions that he did. His crew came out when they were supposed to and completed the work very well and on time. He was also quite a bit less expensive than others who gave bids. I would definitely recommend and use Steve's services again.

It looks great. They got it installed really quick. They had to order the carpet I wanted. It was in within 3-4 days after ordering. I'm a little particular about things. I was a little unhappy with the tack strips where it was coming through. I asked them about it. I pounded down some of it myself, but they did some of it too. It all turned out fine. I was happy with it. Normally they have 2 guys doing it, but the one guy was sick, so he did it on his own. But he's been doing it for years and it went really fast.

Contracted with Steve based on his positive reviews on Angie's List. Steve was very courteous, professional, and made several trips to our home to finalize bids based on our changing ideas and timeframe. His prices were very competitive and once the work was scheduled, his crews were on time and completed the job (s) quickly and did a very nice job that we were happy with. We are pleased with the experience of using Steve and will consider him our go to guy on all of our future flooring needs. Hiring the right contractor for a job can be scary given all the choices, but Steve made our decision easy once we met him and if you are looking to replace your carpet, I would absolutely give him a call before you make your choice.

Steve has been my "go-to" flooring guy for over 12 years for my home and rental properties. He provides an excellent service at a fair price. He has made suggestions and helped me when it did not benefit him. I had a bleach stain on a hallway carpet and he recommend I take the carpet from the closet to patch the hallway and then he gave me a remnant for the closet. He is a great guy and someone that you can trust completely!

Beautiful carpet. Feels wonderful underfoot. Steve's crew removed old and installed new all in one day. We couldn't be happier.

Steve was out to our house for an estimate extremely quickly. He provided us with several options to choose from. His installers were here within the week to put in our new carpet. Steve was extremely professional and helpful. I would purchase carpet from him again!
