 + -1 moreJon is now my permanent computer tech! Since making his acquaintance and experiencing the quality of his work, I would accept no one else. His professionalism and his personality make him a joy to work with.
Description of Work: Upgraded PC and laptop from Windows XP to Windows 7, added RAM to each and a few helpful sites, set up both computers again including Wi-Fi. From the initial phone call, I was impressed with Jon. He was friendly, upbeat, and interested in my needs. An appointment was set for him to come to my home. "Jonny on the spot"--actually a few minutes early. Very professional and very knowledgeable. Jon also has a good sense of humor which made for a delightful visit. We discussed the work to be done, and he asked questions when I was not explicit enough. He asked if I wanted him to do the work at my house or take them with him to his place of business. Since both of us would feel more comfortable in our respective homes, I told him to take them both. He asked if I would be available the next day at about the same time for him to return them. Again he was exactly on time, connected both computers, set up some downloads, asked if I had any questions which I did not at the time. He told me to call him anytime. Calls within the next couple of weeks at no charge as are future calls of short duration.

 + -1 moreWe emailed back and forth a bit and he was able to diagnose the problem and order the part before he came to the house. He was very up front about his flat fee and approx. cost of part. He came and got my laptop and brought it back a few hours later fixed.

 + -1 moreHad Jon come out because my computer was running very slowly and wouldn't launch Internet Explorer. I suspsected a virus but wasn't sure. Jon was quick to respond (he'll come out and pick up the computer at your work/home for free), very helpful and thorough and got rid of the virus on the first try. His guarantee is that he'll come back free within 30 days if your original issue comes back. Very impressed with him and would recommend him to anyone.qu

Description of Work: Jon picked up my laptop at my home and returned it next day. He removed corrupt files, maleware, and upgraded my RAM. Computer works much faster. He worked 2 hours at his shop.

Description of Work: They did a good job and I was pleased with work they had done on restoring information I had lost. Very friendly group of people.

 + -1 moreWhen my son's lap top had additional problems they resolved that quickly without any additional charges. My son lives in Spain and had some questions and issues after returning to Spain and they continued assisting him via phone calls and emails. They completed the repairs to my earlier than scheduled. Excellent service--very knowlegeable. Cannot rate price since I have not had any similar service in the past.
Description of Work: Two lap top computers--hard drive erased and reinstalled the software on one lap top and new hard drive installed on the other.

 + -1 moreFound Jon through a local ad, called him and he was there within a day. I am not computer illiterate as I work in a dot com department. I had defragged, cleared cookies, cache, history etc. all to no avail. Jon spent a little over an hour cleaning my registry and other miscellaneous internal settings, the end result was a computer which ran faster than new and Firefox worked great! Looking at my wife's Sony laptop he suggested adding 2GB of additional RAM and returned a few days later and in a few moments installed the new RAM, suggested I buy a cooling pad ($9.95) from Amazon.com and now my wife is happy - her computer zips and it's running much cooler!
Description of Work: My Dell Desktop was very slow and I could not open my Mozilla Firefox browser. My wife's Sony laptop was also running very slow.
