CARL'S MAJOR APPLIANCE SERVICE

Quoted $400 over phone to make repairs. We had to make an appointment for a time when we would not be home. They came checked the machines, determined they were un-repairable, but did not leave a note or call us. I called in a week later to find out if they were going to come out, because we did not know they had been there. Carl's could not locate the paper work, but finally remembered the project, told me the results, and wanted their $49.95 right then.

WE RETURNED FROM VACATION AND FOUND A LEAK FROM THE KITCHEN FLOOR THROUGH THE FINISHED BASEMENT OVER OUR POOL TABLE. I WANTED SOMEONE TO COME OUT IMMEDIATELY TO LOCATE THE LEAK AND REPAIR IT. I CALLED SEVERAL APPLIANCE REPAIR COMPANIES BUT ONLY THIS ONE SAID THEY COULD COME THAT DAY. AS IT TURNED OUT, THEY CALLED MID-DAY TO SAY THEY COULDN'T COME THAT DAY AFTER ALL. THEY CAME THE NEXT DAY, LOCATED THE LEAK, AND STOPPED IT, BUT THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE PART AND WOULD BE BACK ON MONDAY. THEY WERE BACK AS PROMISED AND REPAIRED THE LEAKING ICE MAKER CONNECTOR. THE PRICE THEY CHARGED WAS TOO HIGH, AND THEY DON'T TAKE CREDIT CARDS.
