They did a fantastic job. I knew in general what I wanted done, but spent a good bit of time first with Allan, then Allan and Chris, discussing options and details. They had a lot of good ideas (some of which I never would have come up with on my own) and made sure to incorporate my wishes and preferences. The outcome is absolutely beautiful. They spent quite some time with me picking out the tile, vanity, vanity top, fixtures, etc. One thing I really wanted was to have the controls of the shower at the end of the shower stall that was open, with the shower head at the other end (so I didn't have to get all the way in to turn on the shower). That was no problem. Also, I picked out a vanity top that I liked in the store, but was not so sure about once it was in my house. The day it was to be installed I was out, but as soon as they put it on top of the vanity they also thought it was not the right choice. Allan went back out before I even knew about this and found one that was just perfect. The only problem was that it matched the walls too perfectly and blended in, so Allan had the idea of painting that one wall a couple shades darker to set off the vanity top. That was a perfect solution. Other things that were very important to me: they came in at, or maybe slightly under, budget. And the entire job - from total demo to completion, was just two weeks. I was very impressed by the speed - and quality - of the work. Even though this was all taking place in my master bedroom/bathroom, the disruption was kept to a minimum. All three were very professional, very good workers, and very good at what they do. I trusted them in my house to the extent that I was actually out of town for several days of the project and didn't worry about having them in my house while I was gone. And maybe what I liked most of all was how invested they were in my bathroom, and how excited they were by the progress and the final product. I love my bathroom and I already have other projects for them in my house!

I contacted AA Construction after another provider on Angie's List failed to come through. Allan was a sigh of relief after dealing with other contractors. Allan was great to work with from the start. He got out to my home quickly and provided me with a great price for the work. My laundry room was out of service until the work could be completed and even though my job was small in comparison to the larger remodels they do, he and his crew got me in very quickly (next day in fact) because they knew how anxious I was to get our laundry going. He and his crew were true professionals, especially in their craftsmanship. I had no reservations about allowing them into my home unattended and when they were finished the laundry room was cleaner than what I normally keep it. I would not hesitate to hire them on a future project and in fact already have Allan and his guys working on a bid for another project. A+ all the way around.

the It went very well. They were very punctual. They were willing to work with us on last minute changes. Very well done. The finished sink and splash area really looked great. Would be willing to recommend his company to others.

We called Allan for an estimate and he was very prompt for the meeting. He was/is a very friendly yet professional contractor. He was very concerned about what our needs were and offered valuable advice. He and his crew exceeded our expectations in quality, time committment and cost. He and his staff even came in the following day after the snow storm. He did everything to meet our expectations. He traveled to many stores just to try to get the exact match for our carpet. Chris and Chris from his crew were great. They were very dedicated and never appeared annoyed when we were constantly stopping by. Allan kept in constant communication with us and always double checked for accuracy. I would recommend him to anyone and I will use him again when the time comes. AA contruction was well worth it.

I left two messages regarding wanting to have someone for a bathroom remodel. Never received a return call.

He was friendly enough but did no more than try to sell us his services. There was no design or plan.

He gave us a bid, but we decided to go with another company.

I contacted Mr. Bridges about Cathy, an older lady living alone 715 miles from where I live. She had a plumbing problem I could have probably easily fixed but was beyond her ability. Within 45 minutes of my call to him Mr. Bridges was on site and in very short order had her problem fixed. I talked with her later and she was truly bubbling over about his professionalism, kindness and attentiveness to her problem. I did not put a dollar amount in above but it was most favorable to her. After reading the other reviews of Mr. Bridges work, I must say they are right in line with our experience. We could not recommend him more highly.

Mid January, 2012, Allan Bridges came out and looked at the project we were wanting remodeled. He requested we provide him with a floor plan of how the finished project might look. We did that on January 25, 2012. He claimed he didn't receive our email with the attached proposed floor plan. When he received the email and attachment he said he'd put a bid together. February 23, 2012 he sent an email saying the program he'd been using had crashed two weeks ago and he was trying to get it fixed. February 26 we received an estimate and replied that we'd like to see the floor plan as well. February 29 he emailed asking if we'd received his estimate. March 5 we acknowledged receiving the estimate showing one toilet and we had requested two and still had not received the floor plan. March 6 he emailed that he'd revised the estimate, but our copy did not reflect that, and we still didn't receive a floor plan. We notified him we would not be working with him any further. I have all the emails saved.

Mr.Bridges was totally professional in his dealings with me. His price was the best of several bids. He followed up with me daily during the construction of my deck with photos on email so I was able to view progress from my office. Allan and his crew cleaned up the yard and left no debris behind. I had the family over to view the result and everyone was very complimentary of the quality of the work. Thanks AA Conctruction. You are the best!

We started off by purchasing the Angies Big Deal from AA Contruction, for a remodeled kitchen. We knew going in that the space we had was twice the size of the specifications in the coupon deal, and that we wanted several upgrades, which would increase cost. After consulting with Allan, who was understanding about our desire to delay starting work due to unexpected family illness, we considered and decided to expand the project further, to include a movable island work surface and to upgrade the countertops to quartz to suit our taste, as well as to vastly improve our entire home by partially removing the short wall between the living room and the kitchen. Allan worked with us to facilitate a move of a freestanding freezer from our kitchen to the garage. We chose to match the new ceilings in the kitchen, by having them scrape and retexture the ceilings in the living room and hallway, which adjoined the kitchen. We further enhanced our homes' new look with new interior doors, which they installed for us and then we chose to paint them ourselves. (A great thing for us as it is something we can do and wanted to do.) They retextured and repaired a couple of cracks in the living room where our house had settled, and then we painted the living room and hallway and entryway. They also installed a pendant light in our entryway. Our experience was really good. Allan initially, and as situations arose, offered options for design solutions in our kitchen, then when we caught our own vision he was accommodating to our desires, including the choice of countertop material and color, paint choice, type and size of backsplash tile. This changed the pricing in some cases, as was necessary and fair. Though we had never before taken on a project of this size, we were comfortable from the very early days with Allan and Chris being in our home. Because my husband was out of town on business for days at a time during the project, they both ended up having to discuss details with me, throughout the project. I could imagine types of people that would have made that unpleasant, uncomfortable, or unbearable, but these are good, hardworking guys who care about the details and are good people to have around. The subcontractors also were good, including the countertop installers and Dave, who installed the beautiful hardwood floors. We anticipate having Allan and Chris do other remodeling projects for us in the future. We highly recommend AA.

Mr. Bridges of AA Construction promptly contacted me to arrange seeing a small old house I purchased as a rental property. He gave me an estimate quickly (several others I had contacted took their sweet time). He was able to start work immediately as he saw I had some serious problems and my son was living in the house. He and or his crew showed up daily on time and did the work in a very professional manner. HIs work was beyond what I had expected. He turned a drab, barely usable old 60's bathroom into an absolutely stunning room that would be worthy of a new home in an upscale neighborhood. He chose the fixtures, tile and paint with the eye of an interior decorator. I just can't thank him enough. I would recommend Mr. Bridges and AA Construction to anyone needing a reliable contractor for their home needs. He is easy to work with, reliable, on time, and has a very good sense of style. I would not have been able to design as nice a bathroom in the small space he had to work with. The bathroom looked much bigger when he was done. I will use AA Construction again.

In the beginning, when we were researching which contractor to use and getting bids, we had reservations about a stranger coming into our homes when we were not home like a lot of homeowners. We had 3 contractors give us bids. Allan was the most economical for the scope of work and had the best ideas. We immediately felt comfortable with Allan and Chris after meeting them. They are personable, flexible and creative. Overall, the process was relatively painless and they kept the house as clean as they could at the end of the day which was tough with the floor sanding and drywall work. We considered ourselves tough clients that are somewhat picky and Allan and Chris took it all in stride as we made numerous changes during construction. They paid very much attention to detail and made our hopes and dreams a reality. We would happily recommend their services and will be using them again when we have future projects. I will tell you this.... DO NOT HESITATE to hire these guys. They do good work, are trustworthy and are clean. If it helps, you can trust my endorsement because I am an Architect and we are very hard to please when it comes to construction quality. Ask Allan for my number and I would be happy to talk to anyone about my experience. A++ would hire again.

It didn't go at all. Initially, Allan contacted me via e-mail. The holidays rolled around, and I did not get a chance to get back with him to set up an appointment. In January, we had a sudden death in the family, so we were out of town for a few weeks. I take full responsiblity on our end for not communicating over the holidays, but it seems as if it's been one-sided in the last few months, all from our end. Granted, it has been several months, but I have repeatedly emailed Allan (7 times total) and left phone messages. I've given him my cell number, and my wife's cell number and requested that he call me since my wife works late and sleeps late. We haven't heard anything in the last 2 months. I do not know what to do at this point, I guess we just wasted $59.

After numerous calls and emails I never received the plans that were promised to me. I have since got a refund for the Big Deal I purchased.

This is our second time using AA construction. They did a good job repairing a bathroom tile problem for us last summer, so I contacted them again for work on our deck. Alan was prompt and professional, and finished the work for the price and in the timeframe that he estimated. I would not hesitate to have him perform any future repairs

He came and spent time here but never gave me that figure.

They finished most of the job in one day. They came back the next morning and removed the forms and cleaned up. They were able to start soon after we accepted the bid. We were under a tight deadline so we really appreciated their timeliness. We're very happy with the results and would definitely use them again.

He was always on time and cleaned up his mess very well. When they came in the house they made sure to cover their shoes to not make a mess. He was punctual and on time which is what I like. I'm pleased with the services they provided and everything is working out just great now. I would recommend them to anyone in the future.

Apparently they miscalculated the amount of timber for the project. The first warning sign to me was when the owner said, "wow, I really underbid this job." Anyone who has ever seen an older home such as mine knows that crown molding goes around where the roof meets the house. He was going to use quarter round instead, which I did not want him to do. They also destroyed brick that didn't need to be destroyed if they had used some care. I was assured that he would take care of this, yet I had to go buy the tool to remove the broken bricks so that they could be replaced. Everytime I turned around it seemed like there was another conflict. My first impression of how helpful I thought he would be was a complete facade. If you don't have any frame of reference, then he will easily convince you that he knows what he is doing. To top everything off, he went through the most expensive lumberyard in Kansas City to purchase the lumber. I eventually just paid them off for the job and dismissed them completely. I now have to figure out how to do this project myself or find someone else to pick up from where they left off.

Not knowing any contractors to contact regarding replacing a fence, replacing an aging deck and stairs with a larger deck and stairs, and installing a concrete patio under the deck with a decorative retaining wall, I went to Angie's List for recommendations and found Allan Bridges and AA Construction Company located in Leavenworth, KS. Allan and his team far exceeded the recommendations for their workmanship I found on Angie's List. The quality of workmanship was outstanding. Allan offered various design options and materials as we discussed the projects. He consulted with us frequently regarding progress and with alternatives to enhance the final products' quality and appearance. Allan, at all times, showed care and concern for our wishes, even when we experienced a medical emergency and his workers quickly came to our support. Allan and his employees were at all times courteous with no inappropriate language. They kept their work areas clean and safe, and they cleaned up their work areas at night. Allan, the owner of AA Construction was on site everyday, working along side of his employees, We are extremely pleased with the fencing, deck, and patio; and will definitely hire Allan and AA Construction to do other interior and exterior projects for us.

He is absolutely fantastic. He's got really great ideas and a real passion for what he does. Even the smallest thing he will take care of if you ask him.

Allan started the work promptly after we accepted his bid, took great pride in his workmanship, and when he left at the end of each day the work area was very clean. We are very pleased, the work exceeded our expectations and we love our new kitchen. Thanks Allan !!!!! Keep up the good work!

AA Construction did an awesome job on my driveway so I had them replace my handrail on the front porch. The new rail turned out great, and really looks nice with my new driveway. What I really like about AAC is that they are upfront about pricing and the expected outcome. If he says he's going to give you a bid he's their with the bid right away. If he says he's going to do the job on Monday he gets it done on Monday, or he would let you know...no sitting around wondering. Allan and his team are outstanding craftsmen that I plan on using again in the future, I feel that I can count on quality work for an honest price. Keep up the great work AAC!

Working with AA Construction was a great experience, and a relief because you can be unsure of what you're getting into. But Allan provided photos of previous jobs and addresses of other jobs that he had recently finished. Allan is very punctual, positively motivated, and a skilled craftsman. He and his team provided me an outstanding driveway at a reasonable cost. It looks wonderful and makes me proud of my house. From the estimate to the finished product I am extremely pleased.
