Description of Work: I tried to get an estimate for some work I needed done. I was in touch with their admin in which she forwarded me to another number. |I left a couple of messages but never got a call back. Very unprofessional. They may do good work but seem to be unoriginized.

Description of Work: I called AA construction and they came out the next day and had the work I requested completed the following day. I purchased a new front door on-line and needed a contractor to install the unit. The unit was over 600 pounds. AA construction met the delivery driver at the property and coordinated with the delivery company to meet at the property to help get it off the truck. They removed the old door and installed the new one without any issues and did a wonderful job. They were very professional and thorough. I have many other projects coming up and I plan on using them again in the near future.

Description of Work: We contacted this company to set up an estimate for installing a new front door on our home and develop an architectural plan for remodeling our living room and hearth room. We contacted them through Angie's List and they e-mailed us to call them directly. We left a message and no one ever returned our call.

Description of Work: We were impressed with the quote that Allen gave us for our kitchen remodel. We tried to contact him for 2 solid weeks. We used email and phone, left messages at his cell phone and office. He never got back to us, so we went ahead and did the arranging of contractors ourselves. I was disappointed because I really liked his ideas.

Description of Work: Wanted to combine an open area with a smaller room to create a larger room, and add an additional door into a full bathroom. This involved removing a couple of walls, eliminating a closet, creating a new larger, walk-in closet, adding additional lighting, re-carpeting the whole new area, adding a requested ceiling fan/light fixture, and creating 2 new walls with doors. Also, in addition to the new doorway into the bathroom, a new exhaust fan was added. Allen and his crew gave us a fair price, AND with the understanding it had to all be done by 12/24. They did an outstanding job, finished 3 days ahead of the deadline, and met the price. One of the above-and-beyond things they did was disguise a metal support pole as a beautiful column..totally surprised me, as it was all hand-crafted and painted. This was not part of the contract...they just did it on their own and it's lovely! They maintained a fairly clean job-site and cleaned it up and hauled away the "stuff", leaving the whole new area immaculate when they were finished. We were so pleased with their work, we called them again, to create 2 custom dog-doors. Again, quoted a fair price, got the job done quickly, efficiently, and cleaned up completely. Happy us, and happy dog! We are military and relocating to a new area can be a challenge, but Angie's List helped us find AA Construction and take the guesswork/heartache/financial uncertainy out of remodelling. We have another project in mind for Allen and AA Construction in a few months, and we will be contacting Allen again for another overhaul/remodelling job. This company is top-notch and a definite "hire" and "re-hire" again.

Description of Work: This was suppose to be a remodel of my grandmothers Kitchen and Bath, however my grandmother passed before it was started. I could not be happier with his responsiveness to my inquiry and getting the estimate.

Description of Work: Completed three season room. The room went from screened sunporch to three season room; windows, frame out, dog door, painting, electrical. Great job matching exterior of original house and windows with new. Job completed quickly. I had a question regarding the estimate the response was handled quickly and professionally. We are already planning on using AA Construction again.
