Some time ago we wanted to move from Kansas City to Lawrence. So I went looking for a real estate agent. One immediately popped out, as her name and face was all over the websites that advertised real estate in Lawrence. So I called her and set up an appointment to see a home on sale in Lawrence. The very next day, the agent who was to sell our house in Kansas City came to know about my search, and enthusiastically said "I know an agent in Lawrence, she is one of the very best in the profession, you should hire her." Upon further inquiry, I found out it was Tanya Kulaga, who was on her mind as well!! So I had accidentally found the best agent in all of my experience with selling and buying house (3 of them in 3 years) due to moving. Tanya comes highly recommended by one and all due to a variety of reasons. The most important being, she is truly not "selling" a home at all, she is merely facilitating a "perfect" match between her client and the home. She does not even consider us as a client for whom she has to sell, she is like a angel out to there to help us. I sincerely mean this without exaggeration, this is how it feels. After a few weeks, she knows our intent so well, she has internalized it. After months of attempts to buy a home, I became anxious, as the "right" home was not in the market. In desperation, on yet another day when Tanya was showing us a house, I told her I will buy this house. She calmly went through various points, and convinced me that it was not a right house for me. Indeed, it was not, I would have regretted buying it. There were other occasions she had gently nudged me away from a house, as she knew it did not fit my requirements, and that I was looking at it favorably out of sheer frustration. She was as usual right! I am deeply thankful to her for all this. Finally she did find us a nice home we liked. She is truly one of a kind; utterly intelligent, sensitive to client's requirements, manifests patience that is super human. She is an absolutely spectacular professional, seeing who I have learnt some valuable things not only about home, but life itself. I recommend her in highest terms possible. She had two fantastic assistants at the time (now I am told there are three); both of who are deeply well trained and show an enthusiasm for their works and promptness that is outstanding. Ashley Quallas was extremely helpful, and showed remarkable promptness in adressing questions and issues, even as recent as today (an entire year after I bought the home) as I wanted to get some information about counter tops. For this I got excellent advice from Tanya's expert husband Greg as well! The other assistants are Elizabeth Ready, and Hannah Towns. Their sincerity is endearing. I wish all of them the very best professionally and in life!

We had a wonderful experience with Tanya as our agent. We were first time home buyers and nervous about having never gone through the process before. Buying a home is a huge commitment, but she put as at ease and helped everything go smoothly because of her knowledge, attention to detail and relationships with great mortgage brokers, home inspectors and other agents.
