Pronto Rooter

I called about 10:30 am and Randy was at my house by 1:00 pm. It was an emergency because both of my toilets were not working. Since I'm on a septic system, he had to work outside where the clean out pipe is located. It was frigid and the wind was blowing 50 mph and that is not an exaggeration. Randy was so pleasant and easy to work with--such a nice guy. I will definitely call him in the future. I highly recommend this company!!!

Broken sewer pipe outside contributed to sewer line back up in house. Pronto Rooter diagnosed the issue, dug up the sewer line to identify the cause and called in another specialist who dug out the entire line and fixed the problem.

Randy remembered having helped us a year ago. He asked permission to go directly to the back yard and check our drain. He cleared tree roots from our drain to the main and from our drain into the house - as he had done a year ago. We have found Randy to be very courteous, efficient, and professional. When we called Randy a year ago, we had already paid another plumber to find the problem of one of our toilets overflowing when water drained from any place in the house - kitchen sink, washer, shower, other toilet, etc. That plumber cleared tree roots from our drain to the main. That helped for a few weeks. Then, we were back to the same problem! Randy was very prompt and courteous. He performed several tests to try to pin point the problem. Finally, he suggested that he would like to use his video tool. He apologetically cautioned that it is an expensive piece of equipment, and he would need to charge us to use it - partly because it breaks often and easily with use - $100 - as I recall it. Did we still want him to use it? After several months of frustration and expense, we gave him the go-ahead. He found tree roots from our main drain into the pipes in the house...very unusuall, apparently. He cleared out a solid wad of roots...and we have been fine for about 15 months.

I called the office number in the early afternoon and within an hour or so Randy called me back. He was able to come over later that afternoon. Around 4:30 he pulled up and upon entering our kitchen he said "this feels familiar, I think I've been here before". I'm not sure if that's something you want your plumber to say or not, but he pressed ahead none the less. Apparently our pipes are particularly tricky, but quite a lot of wrestling of his rooter into our pipes and Randy was able to clear the clog and get the sink drain running smoothly again. As an estimate, he had said "these things tend to run around $85" and he charged me $95. Considering the work that went into the job, I felt the price to be very fair. I highly recommend Mr. Randy Lewis for your "drain cleaning" needs.

I called an excellent plumber--Mr. Conrad--who had me explain what seemed to be the matter on the telephone and kindly told me that it seemed I had a drains problem rather than a problem with my washing machine. He recommended Mr. Lewis so I called him. He was in and out in 45 minutes. He didn't charge extra because it was a Saturday. The only surprise was that he charged $20 rent for the small machine he used to clean out the drain.
