 + -1 moreThey came out the same day they bid the job to perform the work, as we were in a rush due to closing on a home we were selling. They were able to fix everything the inspector had found during his evaluation in less than an hour, and he only charged us the trip charge. I would recommend them.

 + 0 moreThese guys were prompt in scheduling to come out and look at what the inspector reported to be issues. He was able to get a team member here the same afternoon to fix the identified issues, which took only about 40 minutes. Their charge was appropriate, and less than expected. We would definitely call these guys again.
Description of Work: We are selling our home and the buyer's inspector found some electrical "issues" that needed to be addressed.

Description of Work: I had a whole slew of things stacked up for the electrician. I chose Lynn because I am acquainted with some of the ladies who work there, but I was super-pleased with the service I received and will call them again. I had an outdoor outlet that needed rewiring, a couple of non-functioning overhead lights, a light fixture that was smoking if I turned it on (eek) and a light fixture to hang. Not only did the fellow get all this done in one day, he figured out a way to make a super-high, unreachable light fixture accessible, and he changed out the fixture for a much nicer one that I had on hand. He stayed later than planned to do this without my asking. Also, he went out of his way to explain to me what was causing many of my problems and how to avoid them in the future. For the time spent and the amount of work done, I thought the bill was quite reasonable. I highly recommend Lynn Electric.

 + -1 moreInstallation good. Received bill that was nearly twice the written estimate. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY ZERO COMMUNINCATION THAT WE WOULD BE CHARGED THAT MUCH OVER. Would not recommend because of their total lack of professionalism after the sale. Had to haggle down to 10% over estimate. If you do try this company, make sure the written estimate CLEARLY defines your's and their expectation(s).

 + -1 moreEverything went well. They knew what they were doing and helped minimize the stress of hooking up all of our media components ourselves. They did an excellent job of hiding all of the wires and made sure that all of the components worked properly. They explained how to use the panel and were more than happy to answer questions.
Description of Work: Lynn Electric and Communications installed my security system and they also helped in wiring our media/theater room. They hooked up all of the components such as the TV, DVD/Blue-ray player, surround sound all to one preconfigured panel.

 + -1 moreEverything went extremely well. Lynn Electric Communications and Security answered every question I had - and there were many! They helped in calming my nerves about security systems and pointed out all of the benefits. They were at my house on time and installed everything in a very timely manner. I couldn't have asked for it to go better! I was extremely impressed with my service and would recommend them to everyone I know.
Description of Work: Lynn Electric Communications and Security was a great help to our family. We just recently moved into a new house and they came and installed our security system. We had many questions on what type of security system we should get, the differences, advantages and disadvantages, and they were willing to help and answer every question we had. They put us at ease in knowing that my family will be safe. With the security system I got key fobs for my children. This way they are able to arm and disarm the security system when they get home and leave for school. The biggest benefit I have found is that when they come home from school and disarm the security system, I receive an email page notifying me that they got home safe from school. The monitoring center will also call me if they have not disarmed the system and are not home 20 minutes after school lets out. I have found this to be an extreme relief for me everyday at work, knowing they are safe!

 + 1 moreI have used them several times. They show up on time and have very professional, well-dressed employees. They worked together with us and provided their expertise. Our house has also been left unprotected since we had moved in-they helped us with our security needs, installing flood lights, motion detection and a security system. The price was very fair; our security system only costs $20 a month.
Description of Work: Lynn Electric changed out our service, fixed some GFCIs, and found some hot spots on our breaker box. They also were able to put in a new security system and monitor the smoke detectors, CO2 and our freezer.
