KSR Roofing

On June 2nd a bad storm came through and a large limb broke off a tree and gouged a hole a few inches in diameter in my roof. After calling around I found KSR one of the few answering calls and being responsive on that day. Within an hour of calling someone came out to visit and give an estimate. Gave me my options. The hole was small enough it could be repaired with patching, flashing and new shingles. An hour after that a crew was out to repair it. They did it quickly in about 20 minutes. And from visual inspection you can't tell where the repair is. I was very happy with their promptness to fix an issue on a very busy day for them.

I sent a request for an invoice by email. The next day, I received a call that I wasn't able to answer. On Monday, I called back a week later to request an estimate, and was told they would be out that week (it was Thanksgiving week). I got a call the following Wednesday with an apology for the delay and an assurance they would get an estimate out within a few days. I received a text a little bit later that day to confirm my address. That was the last I heard from them. I called and left a voicemail. Confirmed in my email that I didn't receive anything. I won't be checking in with them again.

The house had its shake shingle roof replaced once since it was built in 1969, but the roof was in need of replacing again. Unfortunately, a leak had begun to cause damage to the ceiling on the top floor. The first company we called didn't see us, but emailed an estimate for repair and replacement. Mike Branum of KSR Roofing was scheduled to come Monday for an estimate. He came over and spoke with us in person. When we told him the sound of running water had woken us up the night before and we had found rain flowing in from the ceiling, he knew we needed help fast before the next storm came in that afternoon. They didn't have any roofing jobs because of the severe storm predicted for that evening, but the crews weren't in either. Mike rounded up two of his best workers and returned with supplies a few hours later. That afternoon, for $225, the roof was repaired and we had a good estimate from KSR. No water came in that evening with the next storm.

Very pleased with this work. Workers were thorough and careful on a complex structure. During demolition of old house placed sheeting against house and over windows to protect from falling debris. Again, this was a very complex roof. Appreciated the way the crew worked. Well organized and seemed efficient in their approach. Owner had excellent rapport with crew. Owner communicated well with us so that we understood schedule, process, and knew what to expect. Would highly recommend!

It was totally a pleasure working with Aaron Brooks and his crew. Aaron went out of his way to explain, in detail, the work that would be completed. His sense of humor and knowledge made it very comfortable to work with him. His crew is extremely hard working. They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them. The paint crew that followed these guys commented on how well these roofers cleaned up after themselves. I think Aaron Brooks is someone you can trust to do the job and to do it right. My roof looks great!
