Description of Work: We bought a Bosch dishwasher, top-rated by Consumer Reports. It was badly installed by Best Buy's technicians, who not only forgot to turn off the water before removing the old dishwasher, shooting water through the wood floor into the basement below. One of them hollered "Holy s**t" and ran out to the street to turn the main water off. Not only that, they neglected to install all the rollers that allowed smooth pulling out and pushing in. Finally the top rack got really stuck. I called Best Buy, but the year-long warranty had expired 3 months ago. So I called a repair company, Price's Appliance of Lawrence, Kansas. They came and freed the top rack. They told us that 7 rollers were needed! They ordered those, and within 4 days came and installed them, for a price of $198. This raised the price of the dishwasher to about $700--but now it works like a dream! I won't be buying any more stuff from Best Buy, at least if it's something I can't install myself. I definitely give an A+ to Price's Appliance Repair.

+ -1 moreI can say that the installer that they have there is absolutely wonderful. Initially when it was all set up, and I was talking to him as what he was going to do and all of that, communication was all wonderful but then just about a month ago I had some electrical problems in my car and I was told by someone else that it was a major repair. So I called and told him what was going on and I inquired if it possibly be the remote starter because a couple of other things have happened too. He told me that he did not think so, he however asked me to bring the car in that day and that he would take it all out, and test it. Any way I did that and the car was repaired for hundreds of dollars less based on the input I got from him. It was fantastic. It was a $650 estimate for the starter in my car and it turned out that I had a sleepy battery that sort of worked and it did not. He is the one who found it and he did not charge me for it.
Description of Work: I had a remote starter installed in my car at Best Buy.

+ 2 moreI was writing a message and the M went flying off my computer so they had to replace my keyboard. With the Geek Squad you pay so much each month and then when you need service you can take the computer in to be checked. I have three computers on the plan. My computer is still under warranty. Service does depend on who you get at the store. I had a bit of a problem with the Geek Squad at Best Buy but they sort things out in the end. They told my son that my membership had expired, but I'd paid it and they hadn't posted the payment.
Description of Work: I've bought my computer and my refrigerator from Best Buy.
