No problems, done in less than two days. Site was cleaned thoroughly. Workers were professional.

Mr. Garrison came out to do the bid. I felt that he was the most knowledgeable out of any company that came to my house. He was the first one to my house when the project started and the last one to leave my house after they finished cleaning up. Prompt on arrival time and the roof has been great. I would highly recommend them.

Received an estimate in person a day after I requested an estimate. We ultimately went with another roofing company, but it was a toss up between Garrison and that company, but I would be working with a friend at the other company.

It was a pleasant experience to work with them. They were very responsive and knowledgeable about what they were doing. They were very professional. John (owner) came even on Sunday morning to check the most tricky spots, to make sure that everything was fine. It is little too soon to rate the quality, but so far we are happy with their job. I would recommend them.

I made four attempts to contact over 2 weeks. Each time their phone service took my information and promised a call back soon. The first three times nothing. On the 4th try I finally got a prompt response. Only to be told they have a 90 day backup. I understand if they are too busy I just wish I would have had my first calls returned promptly rather than waiting to find out.

We called for an estimate on a leak and he came out the SAME DAY to look at our house. ?He concluded it was more a window problem than a roofing problem and provided a reference to someone else that could help. ?We will definitely be calling in the future if we ever need our roof repaired/replaced.

John came out and bid the job on-site the day I called. He handed me an estimate of the cost immediately. I told him that I was waiting on estimates from other companies. Two of the other companies that I requested (one online, and one by phone) never got back to me. The other estimate was $1,000.00 more than from Garrison (and they wanted additional if I wanted other tile colors), and they were using the exact same shingles. Once I called John back to start on the work the crew was here the next week. They dropped of the materials the night before starting the work, and completed the job in a day and a half. The roof looks real good, and the bill I received was exactly what was estimated. Very quick to respond to questions and phone calls. I would recommend John Garrison.

Garrison roofing is the most professional operation I've worked with in 20 years. Bid was much lower than competition (who didn't listen to a thing I said) and the team worked quickly to have it done in a single day. Additionally, every scrap of paper of trash was picked up and it looks great!! I was super fussy about colors and textures and John Garrison brought several samples, dropped them off for me to mull over and offered to bring me more until I was satisfied. I feel like he tried to understand exactly the look I wanted and in the end I'm very pleased with the product, the cost and the appearance.

The contractor went out of his way to secure the same color shingles that I have on my house, even though the color had been discontinued by the manufacturer, he found a supplier with enough bundles to do my garage. Once he found the shingles he called and had them installed within two days. The actual time it took the crew to tear off and install the new shingles was about six hours including time for the shingles to be delivered. I was amazed how the crew left no trash or pieces of shingles any where around the building. The crew and owner were very professional whenever I needed to talk with them. I will not hesitate to use this contractor again when I need shingles on my house, hopefully that will be years from now. You can't go wrong Garrison Rooffing and I would highly recommend this contractor. I thought I did a review before for Garrison Roofing but Angie list said I did not, this contractor was excellent and definitely needs a good review. I could not remember exact details for the date but I think I am close on it.

This is an amazing company. They gave a very, very good price and were able to get the work done very quickly after our initial contact. The men working for them were local, so they have an investment in making a good impression on customers. They were polite and professional. They cleaned up every night before they left. In more than a year since they worked for us, we have found only 3 roofing nails in our yard. That is seriously tidy! Mr. Garrison himself is very knowledgeable about his business and was able to explain all the options to me very clearly. He was willing to work with our insurance company and made the who process as painless as possible. I was dreading having our roof redone (you know the reputation roofers have in general...), but this was a very good experience. I only hope Garrison still be around in 20 years when we need another roof.

.Called Garrison Roofing on Monday, April 21st to request an estimate. John Garrison came by the next day to introduce himself and look at my roof. I received his estimate the next day, the 23rd. My wife and I had to go out of town so I wasn't able to get back to John until Monday, May 5th. I was so impressed with John, his professional, yet casual, friendly style. His knowledge of the roofing business (started in the early 80's) that I didn't even get another bid. (After all aren't we all just looking for someone we can trust). He just left me with that feeling. He called me on Wed. the 7th and said that he could do the roof on Friday & Saturday the 9th and 10th. The shingles (30 year Heritage Tamko), 30# felt, and other accessories were delivered on Thursday. The work crew showed up at 9:00 am Friday. They had to take off my old shakes, put on the plywood substitute, along with drip edge venting ( I have no soffits) and put on the new shingles. The crew worked till 8:30 that night, came back the next morning and were gone by 11:00 Saturday morning. I told John that I was so pleased with his company that I was going to keep his sign in my yard all summer.

I wanted shingles that matched the shingles on the house on the separate 2 car garage, I looked on the internet and could not find them on the shingle company's site, so told the contractor to go with a different color. Mr Garrison called back the next day and said he had found the color I wanted and they would be delivered the day they were going to do the roof. Originally he said he would be out within 2 weeks to do the job. He soon called back and said they would be out tomorrow and have the roof on by evening. What a great surprise to have the roof done so much sooner and to have the same color shingle as is on the house. They arrived that morning and went to work, the shingles arrived by the time they had the old roof off, and of course the new roof was on by 3 PM, they were cleaned up and gone by 4 PM. When I said cleaned up, I meant there was not even the smallest piece of scrap or shingle piece anywhere. They swept the concrete in front of the garage also. This is a great roofing company and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. The crew was very professional and polite and worked very fast even though the temperature was in the middle 90's. Would definitely recommend this roofing company to anyone needing a new roof!

It was a very pleasant experience. It was very easy. They were prompt with a unique flow on estimate and price is good. They got here quick, back job done quick, cleaned up, no mess, no fuss, everything done nicely, very professional, very personal, nice guys here, and it was a very positive experience.

Garrison gave a very competitive quote and worked with me and my insurance agent to point out storm damage to try and get insurance to pay for damaged roof (which they did.) This was what set them apart from the competing roofers. They removed old shingles & paper, replaced with architectural shingles. Also replaced the skylights and put in a ridge vent as opposed to multiple single vents. They moved the roof-top antenna and replaced it in exactly to same spot so it did not have to be re-aimed after they were done. Clean up was pretty good; I picked up a double handful of nails over the course of a couple weeks walking around looking for nails. The roof looks great and is holding tightly.

Garrison Roofing was recommended to us by a neighbor. From start to finish, our interaction with John (owner) was a stellar customer service experience. He came to our house on a Monday at the exact scheduled time to give us a very fair and reasonable bid. We were able to schedule the job for three days later. The night before, John called us with a friendly reminder that his crew would be at our home at 8:30 the next morning---WHO DOES THAT?!?! There were about 8 or 9 of his crew who showed up on time and completed the job in about 6 hours. About a half hour later, John called me to say the job was complete---WHO DOES THAT?!?! When my husband and I got home from work, we walked around the entire house and was shocked to discover there was not a single piece of debris or trash laying on the lawn or in the landscaping beds. WHO DOES THAT?!?!? Their cleanup job was immaculate. And for the icing on the cake....John showed up unannounced at our home that evening when he knew we were home from work to make sure we were satisfied with the completed project---WHO DOES THAT?!?!?! I will go out of my way to shout from my rooftop that you can't find a better roofing experience than with Garrison. For the phenomenal experience we had, I hope John is laughing all the way to the bank. He certainly deserves it! We've heard too many nightmare stories about roofers. John is the exception to this rule.

Excellent! Price quoted was 30% less than I paid years earlier for comparable job I had done 2 years ago on another residence in Lawrence. They got job done in less than four days during non-peak winter season. Looks great; top quality, and super reasonable! Highly recommend!

I was happy with them. They were very responsive and very knowledgeable about their products and what they were doing. They were also very professional. I was happy with the price, and looking at the roof, I am happy with it but it is little too soon to rate the quality. They were very responsive. I would recommend them.

My wife called Garrison for an estimate and they came out the very next day. They provided a written estimate of the work that included estimates of the total materials and a description of the work to be performed. We wanted to get other estimates and contacted three other roofers. Of these only one actually provided a bid but when I asked for a written description of the work to be performed and a list of references he said "no problem" but I never heard from him again. The other two never even got me an estimate. The rep from Garrison found some hail damage and met with the insurance claims inspector to show him what she had found. That got about 2/3 of the cost covered by my insurance. They said the shingles would be delivered Wednesday morning and they were. They said they'd start the work Friday but finished another job early so actually started Thursday afternoon. The whole job was done by Friday afternoon. Anytime they found an issue that wasn't specifically addressed in the estimate (plywood replacement) they would call me to let me know. They did a good job of clearing the yard of any debris from the tear off, I've only found a stray bit hear and there. I was completely satisfied with the entire process. This is a good, professional company.

Having used this company before, I contacted them when I found I had a major leak in my roof. I was told they would call me back that day, or the following at the latest. I never did hear from them, and several days later I called back, at which time they informed me they were too busy to do repairs, and that's why they didn't call me back. I wasted a number of days -- during which the damage worsened -- and would have expected, at the very least, a call saying they weren't going to be able to come by. I'm still from the old school, where if they say they're going to do something, I anticipate it will happen. Regardless of any past work they've done for me, I will NOT use them again -- this was a customer service side I didn't have the opportunity to see before.

It was fantastic. They were the first ones to show up for evaluation after I called around. The communication was very succinct, informative, honest, and professional. The price was great beating the competition with at least 5%. The crew(s) came in about 2.5 weeks at noon and were finished with a ~27 sq roof by 8 pm, or so. When communicating with the crew they were supportive and helpful. After they were done, everything was cleaned up without any traces of their work. I highly recommend them.

I couldn't believe that our roof hadn't been leaking since it was so old, but it appears the last roofing company did an outstanding job. We wanted just as good of a job this time so that the new roof would last as long as the previous roof did. We contacted about five different roofing companies to give us a quote. After reviewing the quotes and contacting references provided, we decided to go with Garrison Roofing because they seemed to offer the best value. They arrived on the day they said they would. They replaced our roof, cleaned up after themselves and they were professional in every way. The owner, John Garrison, came by periodically to check on his crew and make sure they had everything they needed and that they were doing a good job. In the end, we got exactly what we paid for and we are very pleased. We will definitely use Garrison Roofing again in the future.
