Floyd's Drain Cleaning

Horrible. After calling Floyd’s for help with drains that were moving slowly, one of their plumbers came out and proceeded to pour something in the drain. Unfortunately, the water in the pipes was cold and whatever he poured down there froze like cement in the pipes. Everything needed to be replaced! We had some success with Floyd’s previously and so after some time we tried to let them snake some roots figuring it wouldn’t be too bad, but after two months everything is backed up again and now Floyd’s has put us on a “no service” list and will not stand by their work. Wow, this is their level apparently...unprofessional, inexperienced (if they are putting something down a drain without knowing it would freeze solid) and not worthy of your time or money. Go elsewhere.

We used Floyd's drain cleaning in August 2017 for kitchen sink and October 2017 for floor drain in the basement. Both times they responded was very fast and performed very professionally. It was easy to communicate with reception when you call and with both specialists. I would use their services again.

After trying unsuccessfully for several hours on Saturday to clear a blockage somewhere in the line that connects our kitchen sink to the main line, I gave up and called for help. I was concerned about high weekend emergency rates and almost waited until the week rolled around, but it was important to get this sink usable. Despite it being a Sunday morning, within 15 minutes of my call to their answering service, I was contacted by someone from Floyd's who indicated they'd be there in 10-15 minutes. He showed up quickly and professionally laid out a protective cloth and got right to work. He quickly snaked the line and was cleaned up and gone in under 10 minutes. We'll definitely be using Floyd's again in the future for regular main line maintenance and any other drainage issues that arise.

My main pipe had a lot of gunk in it. The outside cleanout was buried under landscaping so they had to go through the toilet in the basement. They also discovered the sewer line was broken in my backyard, which I was completely unaware of. Jonathan & Thomas are both professional and courteous. They came to my house within an hour of calling them. I have used Floyd's many times over the years and would definitely recommend to others.

Very well - clean and efficient!

This firm does nothing but drains, and they are tops at what they do. When a tree root blocked a drain a month ago, they not only unblocked that, but ran the rod the other way and discovered a break in the sewer pipe. They videoed the line at a discount since I was already a customer. Their work makes sense to the three plumbers who actually bid on the repair job. They have been out on short notice several times before for clogged drains in my 60-year-old house, and I will call them first next time.

He was very good. He was excellent and we did not have any problems with him. He spent an hour here. He was very prompt and professional.

For some reason, about 3 times a year, the toilets back up in my downtown store. The first time this occurred, I brought in a plumber who worked for several hours before calling in a roto rooter service. The combined bill was over $500. The next time it happened I called Floyd's, who responded quickly and completed the work for $125. This problem has come back several times, possibly due to an old water line. I have had Floyd's come back each time and they have always been friendly, prompt, and much more reasonable than the competition I tried on the first time. The bills have always been between $95 and $125.
