Description of Work: Contacted for a chimney inspection, did not show up at set time, left a message to reschedule. Finally rescheduled and did inspection three days later. Needed some additional repairs, but couldn't come back in a timely manner. Made another appointment, come out did the work and gave a discounted price to make it right.

He arrived right on time and worked quickly to clean our chimney that had not been used for several years. He was efficient and professional. He cleaned the area when he was finished. He was very polite. We have really enjoyed using our fireplace this season, he did a great job.

 + -1 moreShane showed up about 20 minutes late, but was very polite and worked quickly. He gave me some tips about proper usage of my type of fireplace, and pointed out some potential repair needs that I hadn't noticed. He corrected an issue that I needed to fix, but didn't know how, and was very professional about it all. I didn't ask about a price when I called, so when I was billed, it seemed a bit high, as I don't really notice much of a difference, but others tell me it was a normal fare. He also included an inspection as part of the service.
Description of Work: Shane inspected the fireplace inside and out, fixed a broken seal on the chimney, cleaned the chimney, and provided some future repair suggestions.

Description of Work: To make sure I am writing the correct review on the correct chimney sweep, I engaged the services of 21st Century Chimney Sweep, and dealt directly with the owner, Allen Clough. We found him in the Lawrence Marketplace online. I found him very knowledgeable, reliable, and trustworthy. He not only performed the needed services in a timely manner, but took the time to sit down with me pointing out some very valuable safety pointers in making a fire in our fireplace. I not only would highly recommend Allen to anyone, but we will ask him to clean out our chimney once every year before using.

 + -1 moreShane showed up right on time and was very professional. He worked quickly and cleanly. Very honest; I had some concerns and he didn't try to sell me on any unnecessary addt'l services. In fact, it turned out that my chimney was in good shape except for some nests up top which he cleared out. I recommend him highly! Will definitely use again.
