Joe returned my call about 15 minutes after I left a message. He and Phillip arrived on time, just about 45 minutes later. They worked quickly and efficiently, keeping the work area CLEAN.

Job went very well and my problems were fixed.

After 3 hours I called again,and the answering service gave me the Nr. for Flloyds drain service. I asked, why I was not called back the answering service said, that they gave him my Nr., he never called, but told his answering service for me to call Flloyds.

Joe has come to my work and home numerous times. He always calls me back when I leave a message, usually within minutes and even on the weekends. He's professional and the best plumber I have ever had.

Arrived in timely manner, got to work immendiatedly and was careful to set up so mess would be limited. Did job efficiently and provided advise to avoid problem in the future. Answered a variety of questions pertaining other plumbing issue in the house. Will hire back to complete those non-emergency jobs.

They came out the day after I made the call to them. They charged a little over $325 because it was an emergency call. He was very friendly, explained what he was doing and he was very prompt. So it was good. There was nothing that we did not like about him.

Came the same day I called after a drain stopped up and created flooded floor. Professional and courteous service. The service provider provided several tips about plugged drain issues. No problems since then.

I called Joe after the first plumber we contacted flaked out on us and left us in a bind. My wife and I just moved into our first house and wanted to switch the stove from electric to gas, and needed a gas line installed. Joe was attentive to our situation and worked with our schedule, so we wouldn't have to take any more time off work (which we'd had to do for the first plumber). Also, we found out we were having unexpected guests due to a family emergency for the weekend and needed to replace our elderly water heater. I asked if there was any way he could also install the water heater that evening and he said it would be no problem. The gas line and the water heater were both installed in a timely manner and we have not had any problems with either appliance. While installing the water heater, he discovered our basement floor drain wasn't working and cleaned that out as well. He explained what he was doing, explained important information about continued maintenance and care of our appliances, and also told us that he provides a 1-year warranty on the gas line and a 30-day warranty on the connectors for the water heater. He also helped me move the old water heater to the curb for the trash. The price he charged was reasonable for the work and was actually less than the quote we got from the other plumber. He did not charge any night or weekend rate despite being there late in the evening. I will call Joe for any future plumbing needs.

I called Joe the morning of Christmas Eve when we saw our basement was flooding. Talk about bad timing! Joe was responsive and came within an hour. We had used other companies in the past and were dissatisfied with the service and professionalism so had wanted to give another company a try. Joe was very professional, explained what he did and gave good recommendations for future maintenance. He was a bit more expensive than the other company we've used but the service was well worth the price. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter of Lawrence.

I had a leak in the line coming into my house. It appeared to be an issue with my sprinkler system and those guys came out an repaired something but the leak persisted. I called Mr. Rooter on Saturday; they called back on Sunday (said they were dealing with a broken main all day Saturday). When I described the problem, he told me it could still be something with the sprinklers but that he could come out Sunday night to try to locate the leak. But over the phone he talked me through a number of tests by which I was able to be sure the leak was outside. He suggested I bring the sprinkler guys back to check again and said he would be there that night to locate the leak unless I called him and said it was found by the sprinkler guys. Long story, short - it was in the sprinklers and repaired without Mr. Rooter needed to come out. But he was very helpful over the phone and actually helped me get the problem solved without him having to come out. Very professional, very helpful.

The serviceman arrived promptly at the time he had indicated he would be here. He took out the old faucet which was not an easy task due to the way it had been installed. He installed a new faucet and we have had no trouble with it. The serviceman was polite and easy to talk to. He left no mess or trash. Mr. Rooter suggested that we might want to go to the hardware store and purchase a faucet for him to install. Because we had other commitments, we could not do so. We described the faucet we wanted and the serviceman obtained it for us. We were pleased with his choice.

He didn't show up when I had the appointment. But, he came after two weeks and apologized. He gave me a quote and also a 30% discount. His quote was 10% higher than the people I decided to go with. He was a very friendly man and I learned a few things about my storm doors from him.

I found another service that happily did the clog removal task in under 20 minutes, from arrival to departure, for $110.

It always is a good experience...have used Mr. Rooter for many plumbing issues, such as replacing our hot water heater, replacing toilets, fixing drains and dishwashers! He is great!

I really like the guy. It is just one guy and he does a good job. His price is really fair and he came out very promptly. I will use him again in the future.
