+ -1 moreI made a reservation with them, but kept calling around. I found another garage door repair company that would come out and show me how to open the door safely, and then fix it later. When I called back to cancel the reservation with Blaine, they were courteous and appreciated my call.
Description of Work: My garage door broke on a Saturday. I called Blaine's after hours line. They promptly called me back, but would only come and fix the door with a $200 emergency services fee. This would double the cost of fixing the door.

+ -1 moreAfter a city salt truck backed into our garage door and caved it in, Blaine made an emergency trip on a freezing Saturday morning to get the door back to a shape where it could at least be raised and lowered. He did not charge us for that. He provided quotes for a new door and was half the cost of the other two companies who quoted replacements for us. When we did go ahead with his quote, he was very prompt and professional.
Description of Work: Repaired broken garage door and eventually replaced it.

Description of Work: I called Blaine to check on my garage door opener which was very noisy. He came out, tightened up teh whole system, installed new rollers and closing sensors and was very reasonable,

+ -1 moreFantastic! He came in the cold, late in the evening, and charged very little. He has been back for maintenance stuff (once the door was sticking and would not go all the way down)and charged us little to nothing...we had to make him take the money!!! He has also done work for friends on our recommendation and they all love his work. He is also great with kids who like to hang around and watch him work.
Description of Work: Spring broke on our garage door--he replaced the spring, serviced the door completely, then noticed our key pad was not working, so he later came and replaced the switch so we could reprogram the key pad.
