WILLIAMS INSULATION

Came out and gave me a bid first of October never heard anything about when they were going to be installed finally contacted them in December they don’t have us on the schedule, so I guess we’re not getting gutters in time for winter on our house thanks to Andy’s Hostetter

It went fine. There is a huge difference in the temperature in the basement. They cleaned everything up. They informed me of what they were going to do before they did it.

After a slow start, the contractor did not get back with me promptly to schedule an installation date, the job went well. Soffit vents were protected and insulation dams were installed around attic access hatches. Insulation was then blown to a thickness that exceeded 20 inches thought out the attic. The contractor was at my home for about 4 hours. We can already feel the difference in the temperature in the house. It is a lot more stable. Pricing was excellent compared to their competitors. Williams bid the job for a third of their quotes. $1500 vs, $4500 for the same specified work.

It cost us about $4000 for their services. It was a positive experience. They were very helpful. We asked them a lot of questions and they answered them. We were able to negotiate a price that worked for both of us. They made a couple of mistakes, but they came back and fixed it without any hesitation or any problems at all. We had several estimates and they were the best. They were great for the most part. They were fine.

2 people crew came on time in the morning at 9 am and finished attic insulation. Then they started working on garage ceiling and overhangs... mainly dirlling holes. One person then left around 2 and ohter person kept working. They did the insulation work on next day for these overhangs and garage. When they drill below kitchen they had to dug about 2 ft to go there. They did that very well. Dug it and after work finished they fill the soil back. Only in garage I wish they should have used something to cover up the stuff .. as they drill, all sheetrock white powder fell on the stuff in the garage. I still have to clean it while picking up something from there. They cleaned up the main area of garage. Close all drill holes with white plugs. Overall it went smooth.

The installation crew was careful not to make a big mess when they blew insulation in the attic. We did need to call them back though, because it was discovered when our electrician tried access the lower attic a few months later, that they had done all the blowing from the top attic and had not put a barrier around the opening for the lower attic. When we called the company they promptly sent the crew back, and they fixed the problem. The crawl space work went very well and the job looks very neat.
