carpet installation, flooring contractor
+ 0 moreAs noted above, this was an insurance claim. Our insurance company recommended this contractor. We paid for our materials (our portion of this claim was $1,800) on July 9th. We asked that the basement flooring not be demo'd until the materials were in. The floor was demo'd August 3rd. The new laminate and tile flooring was to be installed on August 9th. The day after the floor was demo'd the contractor called and said, well, whoops, we didn't get all the materials. They said " We'll look into the problem and should be able to help you in a couple of weeks" No phone call and it is now the 19th of August. We will never use this company for any type of work in the future and do not recommend that anyone else use them. We will begin working with our credit card company to dispute the charge for materials at this point and have contacted our homeowner's insurance company to make sure they are aware of these practices.
Description of Work: Damage to laminate basement floor due to a water leak. 800 square foot of flooring to be replaced; homeowner's insurance company recommended this contractor.

+ -1 moreWe were very pleased. The salesperson was knowledgeable and gave us some options for installation. We had heard horror stories about installation. Our installers did a terrific job-they were efficient, professional, cleaned up after themselves and would be welcome back any time.
Description of Work: Old carpet removed. Furniture moved and replaced. New carpet and pad installed

+ -1 moreTHEY SENT A CREW THAT SMOKED, DID A POOR JOB OF INSTALLATION, AND EVEN PUNCHED HOLES IN THE WALLS. THEY RESPONDED QUICKLY TO MY CALLS AND LETTERS, BUT DID NOT REDUCE MY PRICE OR FINISH REPAIRS TO OUR SATISFACTION.
Description of Work: OLD CARPET REMOVED AND NEW CARPET LAID THROUGHOUT HOUSE.
