About us

We are a three man company: Father, Son, best friends' Son, (and the dog!). In spite of our size, we are fully insured to the point of working on U.S. military bases in the area, the State of Kansas, various other public entities, and large construction companies. We have been bonded on several of our projects. I use sub-contractors when needed, but would rather hire extra employees where I can watch progress personally. On smaller jobs, payment is expected upon completion of the work. Larger projects require partial payment throughout the construction process, with final payment due after all punch list items have been addressed.

Services we offer

One major service is playground/park construction. Two employees of the company are certified with NPSI credentials (National Playground Safety Inspectors). Excavation services as well as hauling is completed with the use of a Bobcat skid steer and an eight ton capacity single axel dump truck. We offer guttering services with six inch "K" style guttering. Our skills also include residential and light commercial remodeling and construction.

Services we don't offer

In the area of residential and light commercial, we stay away from electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, and roofing. If you need work in strictly one of these areas, you would be better served by a professional in one of those areas. If any or all of these trades is needed as a part of an entire project, we will gladly sub-contract these services. There is a minimum of $250 for any project, which provides for services for one half day with one worker.

He started on time, finished when he said he would, produced an awesome product (we'd given him a picture from a magazine of what we wanted) and handled all details from start to finish.
Description of Work: Mac did a wonderful job installing a bay window with a bench seat. It completely transformed the room and we receive many compliments from guests. It was a complex job in that it required special reinforcement in the floor joists and a new roof over the bay. (The previous window had been a flat picture window.) It also has lighting above the bench seat and 5 roll out drawers for storage in the bench seat. Mac may not be the cheapest guy in town, but you definitely get more than you paid for. He and his subs were always on time, performed the work as advertised, and he has a very high level of attention to detail - you'll get a very professionally produced product from Mac.
