We were looking for a quote to rebuild an existing deck and build a roof over the deck. Sean arrived for the appointment we set on time. We explained our goal to him and he took measurements and suggested we contact a local supplier of PVC decking material. We visited the supplier and got samples, so that we could provide them to Sean when he contacted us with the estimate. I sent Sean an email telling him that we had the samples and that we looked forward to his quote. To date, we have not received the quote nor any return communication via phone or email from Sean. The unprofessional lack of response surprised us both, given the positive reviews we have read concerning his carpentry skills. If he felt the job was too complicated or that he could not schedule us, he should have at least informed us. His lack of communication was a surprise and disappointment.

First of all Sean was able to meet my needs within a short period of time. Construction was completed in 5 weeks as planned. The work passed all city of Leawood inspections. Materials used were provided by Kansas Deck Supply and were of high quality. Of particular importance was the support structure necessary for such a large building addition. All work was completed as per the plan and there were no major issues during the construction. Electrical work was performed to code and per the original drawings that I provided as to location and feature. A false wall was built to hold the TV with wiring concealed for power and cable TV input. We are very happy with the work performed, the timing and the end result. Just in time to enjoy football games on the porch.
