In addition, he provided, during this same weekend, a referral to another contractor (an underground pipe expert) to get a second opinion on an expensive emergency repair, unrelated to the tenant damages, that had to be done right away. The contractor he referred me to looked at the job the next day and got back to me promptly with his opinion on how the problem should be handled. Not only did Barry provide the documentation I needed for the repair estimate, but he also advised me (from his perspective as an experienced landlord) on the best way to organize and present the information. to the tenant. We have not yet had the work done because we are waiting for other tenant-related expenses to be resolved, but I would not hesitate to have Barry do the work, especially the more delicate and difficult repairs. Based on our detailed discussions of the most difficult repairs, I am confident that he has the experience and expertise to handle them properly and return the house to its former condition.
