They come once a week to pick up our garbage. It is $68 every three months. They have automated their system. They have a truck that comes and picks up the cans. They have exspanded their recycling system too. They do limit how much you can put out there now.

The owner has a monopoly in the Overland Park. They are the dominant thrash collection service. They come out weekly and they charge around $60 for three months. Not that they are really a bad disposal service, but it's just that there has been increased in the price and also you are required now to use their garbage cans. A lot of this stuff has happened, it used to be locally owned; but now, it is owned by the company.

We pay yearly and it averages to about fifteen dollars a month. The service is satisfactory.

The new owner's now have a call system and they call and tell us if garbage pick-up is going to be late around the holiday season. There have been no problems with their services lately. They have changed the recycling system and they now provide larger containers for recyclable items.

Used this company for weekly residential trash pick up for over 25 years. Lately they have been refusing to pick up some trash that was at the curb. Trash refused seems to be random, at their discretion. They have left recycling even after paying extra to include this service, and have refused to pick up other trash for reasons that we can not figure out. I have decided to use a different service.

I have used this company for 6+ years because I thoght they were pretty much the only option. (Not the case.) They refused to pickup yard waste. The refused to pickup anything that is not "regular household waste"... which is basically food waste. Any "special pickups" start at $75, and they won't quote you until they come out to see what it is; which they require you to be there so you can pay them prior to them taking your "special pickup". They charge $10 for a late charge, on a $22 per month bill!!! I would not use them again, I am moving and I have found another provider who does just the opposite.

Their service pick-up is reasonably prompt. Their management has changed and therefore, their procedures have changed, and it has made me consider switching services. They claim that they won't pick up loose items in a container, and that everything should be in a trash bag. They throw their garbage cans in our garden occasionally.

Since the change of ownership the service has become worse. If I had a choice I would be the first person to opt out from this garbage collection agency. People working at this outfit mostly speak the language far from the truth. They are the people with fixed answers and take no responsibility of their work.

I needed to rent a dumpster and called several local places. Deffenbaugh not only had the best price, they were able to drop off the dumpter quickly. The rental was for 14 days. They dropped it off exactly when they said they would. I wanted to keep the dumpster for an extra weekend. Not only did they allow me to keep it over the weekend, they did not charge an additional fee.

We have used this service for years and have always been pleased. They collect our trash and yard waste, which we have a lost of year round. They have also picked up some large items, which I considered iffy.

We've been pleased with Deffenbaugh's service compared to another service we used previously. Deffenbaugh's trucks get here early in the morning so they collect the trash before animals have a chance to get into it. In the past, another company's schedule let it sit outside for hours and we frequently came home from work to find trash scattered all over our yard from dogs and coyotes getting into it. By comparison, Deffenbaugh has been getting here between 7:30 and 8:30 in the morning, which works well. Price is comparable to the other service.

They have always been on time, skipped my house once for some reason, but only once in 5-6 years. Service and timeliness are good. My only complaint with these guys is their equipment. Other similar services in the KC area use nice clean trucks, etc., but Deffenbaugh uses the oldest, rattiest, dirtiest trucks this side of a third world country. The amount of black diesel exhaust spewing from their trucks is astounding and has probably singlehandedly created a small hole in the ozone layer over Kansas City. One would think that a company dedicated to responsible disposal of waste would put a little effort into not killing the ecosystem with their trucks. For goodness' sake, at least clean them up and show some pride in the image of the company like competitive trucks in the area. I'd switch if I could just out of protest, but the garbage system is rigged, you are stuck with who services your address.

Tonya was polite, professional and met me at the residence within a very short time. Dumpster was dropped off exactly as designated, we needed it emptied one time, and it was picked up when requested after the sale was completed.

ROUTINE PICKUP OF TRASH & RECYCLING (EXTRA COST) WEEKLY. USUALLY FINE, BUT HAVE HAD SOME INSTANCES WHERE THE RECYCLING HAS NOT BEEN PICKED UP.

PICKS UP TRASH WEEKLY. ALWAYS ON TIME. WORKERS ARE FRIENDLY. SERVICE IS OVERALL SATISFACTORY.

THEIR WORK IS ALRIGHT. THEY DO GET THE JOB DONE.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB, AND WERE ON TIME. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO A FRIEND.

CONSISTENTLY PICKS UP TRASH NEAR THE SAME TIME EACH WEEK. VERY RARELY DO WE EVER HAVE ANY PROBLEMS, MAYBE ONCE IN THE PAST SEVEN YEARS.

THE ITEMS WERE REMOVED ON THE DATE PROMISED. NO DEBRIS WAS LEFT AND THE SERVICE REP HAD GOOD, COURTEOUS PHONE DEMEANOR.

THEY ARE VERY PUNCTUAL, YOU ALMOST COUNT ON THE EXACT TIME THEY WILL BE HERE. THEY DO A GOOD JOB. IF THEY DROP SOMETHING, THEY ALMOST ALWAYS PICK IT UP.

THEY ARE ALWAYS HERE ON THEIR SCHEDULED DAY.

TAKES CARE OF BIG AND LITTLE TRASH PICK-UP.

TIMELY PICK UP EVERY WEEK. QUARTERLY BILLING CYCLES. IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE DIVIDED RECYCLE BUCKETS.

OUR TRASH CREW NEVER FAILS US AND ARE VERY GOOD ABOUT PICKING UP WHATEVER IS AT THE CURB.

THEY PICK UP OUR RECYCLING ON TIME EVERY WEEK. THEY EVEN GATHER UP STUFF THAT THE WIND HAS BLOWN OUT OF THE BIN.
