We were very pleased with Justin and his crew. They showed up when they said they would. They rarely took breaks. When they were at a standstill at our house because the area had to dry due to the power washing or the paint had to dry, they would leave and go work on another job. I was impressed that they didn't just sit around and wait but went where the work was so several jobs could be worked on at the same time. All members of the crew were very polite, they were quiet with no loud music, and were respectful of our property. After the job was finished, Justin did a walk though with us to make sure everything had been completed to our satisfaction. Before using College Works we were a little hesitant about using college students, but this crew was very professional in all of their dealings. We could not be happier with the job they did for us.

They were very timely and very responsive to all our questions and concerns. Always went to extra mile to make sure we were totally happy. Did a great job on the painting and cleaned up after themselves. Worked with us on picking the correct color, made several trips to aquire samples of paint color for us to test. We were very pleased with the job from start to finsih and would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

We recently got the house painted and the fence power washed and stained. We went with college works painting with a couple of the college student whom had come by the house and gave us an estimate. We went with them because we believed the price was fair, we really liked the warranty and the fact that the program teaches College students how to become a better working class. Drew Nick came to do the work, he would explain all details and answered any questions we had on a daily basis. He address any of our concerns and made sure he worked in a clean and safe environment. We never had to pick up behind him and he worked consistently until the project was completed. Drew worked as a professional and showed great management skills to Jonathon Atterberry, laborer. Jonathon did a great job as well. He was through in everything he did. He was very polite and kept up a great pace making sure he completed all tasks at hand.

The intern was very patient with us as we changed our minds on colors. He performed daily walk arounds with us to identify areas that looked good and areas that needed to be improved. He addressed all our concerns with regards to the paint job. The preparatory work included filling in cracks and other imperfections in the wood surfaces to ensure the finished product would look good. He was patient with both us and the elements, as the weather slowed down his completion schedule. The finished product looks really good.

I read the cover sheet of the CWP pre-estimate package introducing Abbie Eslinger as my Intern/Manager. She prepared an estimate and I thought it was fair and signed. Young painters showed up on the appointed day with Abbie and scraping began--then the job began to morph into something unexpected. Scraping and priming became the bigger portion of the job as large areas of barely adhering paint were removed. To go back, with hindsight, to the above mentioned letter of introduction: it is the most honest assessment of one's abilities and intentions that I have ever read. Yes, it is a glowing letter, but she is an extraordinary manager and worker. Not one negative arose as she was doing and directing. She had chosen good people, and all of the painters gave an honest day's labor in 90 degree days. At project's end, it took a little more time and we negotiated a small price increase but the results are excellent. I am very glad Abbie Eslinger and her crew were available to paint my house.

Contractors/painters came when they said they will be here and we did a walk around each day end. They did what we asked them to do. Always very pleasant.

Went well. Due to rain and wind, Justin Irvine and crew kept me posted as to progress. Returned the area to original condition. Even helped clean my rock wall that had been vandalized with blue paint.

The painters were professional and taped and protected windows and other exposed areas. They were careful not to injure plants and other areas of the yard. They did good quality work in a safe manner.

Just Irvine (Branch Manager for the Midwest Division) and his crew of incredible people worked long and diligent hours to turn an old house into the pride of the neighborhood. They arrived each morning and following set up and instructions, would go straight to work and continue with the work until they accomplished the tasks set for that day. It took 2.5 days and following their time with us, we have a house to be proud of. Their clean up was fantastic and their work was without fault. They were a joy to have on the property and fun to be around. I would recommend using this organization for everyone and feel it is not only beneficial for the homeowner but it assists the young people to further their education as well. Skye Mills and Matt Walters provided great customer service by providing quality work, on-time and to our satisfaction. Throughout the painting job, Skye and Matt were dedicated, hardworking and extremely professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Their work ethic is extremely refreshing to see in young professionals. They came to work everyday, prepared and worked 12+hours in the hot summer heat - always making sure my husband and I were always happy.

They showed up a week later than promised, worked for a day and a half, then left on Thursday for the entire week. When they returned the next Monday, they sat or stood around and talked more than they worked. They constantly left the gates open, which we asked them not to so our dogs wouldn't escape the yard. They took twice as long as quoted and the finished product was terrible, but we just wanted them gone. We will never use these people again!

The painters were done in about 4 days and did a good job. The paint/staining looks great. Only negative I can say is that a different person originally did the estimate and said they would caulk cracks in the boards and caulk all the small holes in the wood siding. The painters caulked many of the holes but did not repair any of the cracks.
