I felt that the guy who gave me the estimate and contract was honest in talking about the roof and answering questions that could have potentially lead me away from them. I felt that he was being honest with me.

Work was performed in a timely manner, premises was kept clean and best of all, two years later and no leaks.

They performed the installation according to their estimate and the budget. Braden did not do the work - his crew chief was Cesar and he was the one on site. There hasn't been a rainstorm yet but based on what we saw as we watchec them do the repairs we feel good about the work. They were thorough and explained what they were doing and they did the repairs. They found some additional issues that were hidden under the shoddy work by the other roofing company, and they would explan the situation and the consequences to us whenever they discovered something that we hadn't known before. They clearly knew what they were doing.

This is a 2 part review. I am not sure of the date when we first used Braden Roofing, but believe it was about 2 years ago. At that time I would have given them an A rating across the table. Part 1 = A rating. We used them for maintenance on our shake shingle roof. Kyle was prompt and friendly and he took pictures of what he saw on the roof that needed repaired. He was very professional. Back then, he mentioned that our cost for maintaining the roof was almost what our deductible would be if we had a hail claim, too bad, cuz we'd get a whole new roof for almost the same price if we did have a hail storm. He commented that "if you ever do get hail damage, don't let any roofer put you in anything but the best replacement shingle, b/c your insurance would cover it since you currently have a wood shingle and they are so expensive." All was fine for about another year - then we got a very BAD hail storm in our area! We had holes in our siding and pieces of shingle everywhere littering our yard. Part 2 = F rating. I called our insurance right away and set up an adjuster to come out. They asked if we had a roofing co in mind that could meet them at our house and I called Kyle right away. He came right out and was very helpful initially. He made the comment that we were in a good position because we got our adjuster out so fast ...that in a few weeks the neighborhood would be swarming with insurance folks and roofers and we'd be ahead of the game because we were seen so quickly. Yay for us, right? Wrong. Kyle never gave us an estimate. Nor did he provide one to the insurance. He left when the adjuster did and I didn't get a chance to talk to him about a start date. I called him and he said to just email him the claim info from our insurance. I emailed him the claim info. No response. I called & he said he didn't get it - my bad, as I must have had his email wrong. So, I resend to the correct email. Still no response. I call again. He says he didn't really do any numbers when he was here with the adjuster, so he'd have to come out to do the estimate. He never came. I call him again. He is nice each time, but nothing is happening. He said he didn't write anything up yet, but he would. Weeks go by. Still nothing. I call him again & leave message. I really hated bugging him but by this time we are about a month an a half out and he still hadn't come back for the estimate. He said he would that week, Still nothing. I called him AGAIN & asked if we could at least order the materials as I had heard they might be running short in our area. He then says he can put us in basically an economy quality roof. I reminded him of his very comment to me the previous year that HE himself told ME not to let a roofer put me in anything but the high end shingle. He was nice, but just said he couldn't do that for the amount the insurance was willing to pay. I called my insurance so frustrated and near tears. The insurance was so nice & said it had been long enough that we had been going back & forth and that THEY would take over with the calls to the roofer. Insurance agreed that we should get a high end shingle and said they'd be happy to reconsider their payout amount if Kyle just told them his numbers and where the difference was from their own adjuster. I waited and waited. The insurance called me & said Kyle wasn't answering their calls. Asked if I wanted to look for another roofing company. I said I would start looking for another roofing company but to please just see if they could get a response from Braden roofing, since I had waited this long and knew their work. Insurance called a few weeks later and said they spoke with Kyle and that Kyle told them he emailed the estimate to ME & could I forward it to them. Only Kyle NEVER emailed any estimate to me! I told the insurance this and they again contacted Kyle to let him know I NEVER received any estimate, could he please sent it directly to them? He told them he would, but he never did. After several more weeks the insurance tells me they still have been unable to get a response from Kyle. In the end, I had to go with another roofing company. Ours should have been one of the first houses in the neighborhood to get a new roof, however we ended up being the last. As a result --- our damaged roof sat for 5 months and a colony of BATS moved into our attic and made it their home. GRRRRR! I totally did not expect this from Braden Roofing or Kyle. In hindsight, - I should have called the OWNER and told him what was going on & cc'd him on all the emails that went directly to Kyle. Having the roof sit so long was frustrating enough - but having the bats exterminated was a very costly expense that we believe could have been avoided had the roof been promptly replaced as we were told it would. "A" for the first job of repairs, "F " for keeping us hanging on for the replacement that never happened = the reason for the "c" rating overall.

They completed the job. Whenever they had the technicians come out, they took a couple of visits before everything was finally completed. The first guy that came out was good. They tried to clean up after the work was finished and that was good. They did a decent job of leaving the place in good shape. I may use them again in the future.

They did a great job and I recommend their services. I will continue to use the same in future.

At Braden's website I filled out all the information for an estimate. They say they will contact you within 72 hours. I was never contacted.

We spent $26,000 on that work and it went great. I think they did an excellent job in pretty adverse conditions because we were having a lot of rain at the time. I thought that the crew was very, very professional and one thing that stood out was the clean up. They actually left the yard the surrounding area cleaner than it was before they started. It was really good and they really seemed to know what they were doing and I would recommend them to anyone. Their price was probably more than some of the estimates I got from other companies, but I would do it again and pay that extra money to have the professional crew.

Technical specialist Richard, was thorough in explaining what needed to be done, gave me an honest and fair proposal, and completed the job in a timely fashion. His work exceeded my expectations.

They tore off all layers of the existing roof. Installed new plywood. Installed a Malarky "Legacy" shingle. Installed a cricket for the fireplace. Everything looked great and they did a fairly good job of cleaning up afterwards. Braden was easy to get ahold of and would alway return my call the same afternoon or evening. He did a great job of working the job into his schedule as quickly as possible.

Work was done in a very timely manner. We were very pleased with work done and the price.

We didn't use them to do the job. I don't have the quote anymore. They were very nice to do business with. Their bid was reasonable, but we found another company that bid lower on the job and so we accepted that bid. We probably would not use Braden Roofing in the future because they were more expensive than the other company.

I haven't used them yet to do any of the work so I haven't paid them anything. I would give them all good ratings. He was very thorough and thoughtful in answering all my questions. One of the leaks I had him consider, I had fixed by someone that did chimney repair for me, which took care of one of my issues.

We had a leak in our roof and we were selling our house and couldn't get anyone to come over in a timely fashion to do the repair. Braden was there quickly and fixed it correctly in a couple of days so that we can show the home. I was extremely happy that they could do the service.

Braden's roofing crew worked extremely hard. They did not act as typical roofers often do and were extremely quiet as they went about their work which was long and hard on this old house's roof. No blaring radios. No loud stories about last night's conquests/drinking bouts. Just really good people working really hard.

Braden's name was given to me by my insurance agent. I left a message, which he returned promptly and we scheduled a time we both agreed upon to look at my roof. He kept the appointment and brought references, pictures and copies of his insurance with him. He left the bid with me that day and called back a couple of days later to follow up. Braden's bid was one of four that I got and his price was in the middle. Braden probably would have done a good job, however, I feel there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance, and to me I just felt that Braden's self assuredness was a little over the top for me to feel comfortable in working with him.

The work was estimated to commence within 2 weeks (but possibly sooner due to existing leakage). I submitted the work order about a week after the estimate then the crew was on the job after about 4 weeks. Perhaps a bit more communication would have helped. Otherwise, appears to be professional workmanship. Job was completed in two days as predicted and roof was covered overnight during construction. Contractor provided Lien waivers and warranty upon payment.

They did an excellent job on the work and clean up. However, he happened to miscompute the amount of materials needed, so it has taken longer than it should have. He had to order a few additional bundles of shingles and more plywood. The work is 95% done, and he will have the remaining work done within a week. He has been easy to work with, his crew is polite, and the shingles look really good. The house has a lot of peaks and valleys, and one side is almost 3 stories tall, so it is a challenging roof with skylights.

Braden Roofing was prompt & courteous in bidding on the project. I had gotten their name from a nearby neighbor. The bid was hand written, not typed, but seemed to cover all items listed in other contracts. Their cost was around $300 lower than the 2 other bids. I worked with Dan Sharp of the company. I checked out 6-8 references, provided by them, before deciding on them to do the work. All references said the work was satisfactory, & most people were complimentary & well pleased. The work was begun within a few days of their estimated start time & completed in less than 2 days. They cleaned up all debris. The workers were friendly. When I noticed a piece of plastic protruding from a shingle near the edge of the roof, they returned & corrected the problem. I appreciated their counsel on the selection of roof & am pleased with the workmanship.
