This company stole money from my mother. Joe came to look at her refrigerator, ran some tests and said the condenser needed replacing. We went ahead with services and paid $450. The new part never worked. We were supposedly given a 90 day warranty on parts. We have attempted to call and leave messages at least 6 times to get this resolved amicably. No one has bothered to even respond. We are moving forward with a police report at this time.

I spoke directly with Mr. Joe Diaz on a Friday for a Monday appointment to diagnose/fix my dishwasher. He never showed up nor did he call, and he didn't call the day after to explain either. I have no idea if Mr. Diaz performs good work or shoddy work because I was unfortunately never given the opportunity to see for myself. I am rating him 1 star solely on the basis of not keeping his appointments and greatly inconviencing me (I got everything out of the way in the kitchen and under the sink to make his work go smoothly). Perhaps he had better paying jobs, got sick, whatever but he never bothered to let me know. Anyone who does that in my opinion is unreliable and doesn't get a second chance. As a result of this experience with Angi's, I shall never use this service again to find someone.

Told us to buy a new fridge. Came out four times. Then quit answering our phone calls. GE Fixed it right away. No new fridge needed. Disappointing
Description of Work: Refrigerator. Joe was out four times. Changed various items. Told us buy a new fridge. Then would not return our calls. Frustrating. Called GE. They fixed it for 330 dollars. No new fridge needed.

The tech was late to show up the first appointment, but once there worked to figure out that a new motor was needed. The part took two weeks to come in, however, every time I called to check in when I was told the part would be in, it still wasn't in yet. Repair was finally completed, however 2 week later the error message came back. Called the tech again and had an appointment for him to come back and look at it. He no showed. Left a couple of message, but no return phone call. Called the main line and was told someone would call me back to get an appointment scheduled for the next day. No phone call and no one came out to look at my problem again. I am beyond frustrated as now we are having to cart our family's laundry to a laundromat (approx 8 miles away) every week to keep up. With winter setting in and the temperatures dropping this is not acceptable. Original service date was 9/24/16 and today is 12/7/16 with no resolution!
Description of Work: I received an E3 error on my front load washing machine which seemed like it was not cycling properly.

Came home to a washing machine leak on a Friday. Started researching repairman on Saturday and found Anytime Appliance Repair. Called and left a message early Saturday. Guy calls back about 4:30 Saturday afternoon and says he can come out Sunday morning. I told him Monday might work out better. Who wants to work on Sunday? He said it was no problem and would be out between 0900 and 1100 Sunday morning. So we stick around the house waiting until about 1115 and I call and leave a message that we will wait until 1200 and then were heading out for the day. Rep calls me around 3 pm and says he couldn't get away from his wife in the morning and that he could come out around 6. Unbelievable. All he had to do was call and let me k now he couldn't make the appointment and would have been no problem Told him he had already wasted three hours of my day and wasn't going to waste the rest. Chose not to do business with this particular company.

Description of Work: I chose this company based on reviews on Angie's list. My daughter needed her dryer fixed and I needed my oven repaired. We scheduled the appointments back to back. He was making the repair at my daughter's first then coming to my house down the street to fix the oven. I wanted to be there when he was at my daughter's home since we only knew what was posted on Angie's list. Joe was over two hours late and did not call. My daughter called him twice. When he arrived, he was nice enough, however, other than his tool box, we would not have known he was from an appliance company. He took apart the dryer and gave us a quote. He said he could come back the next day with the right part. She chose to purchase a new dryer because the cost of repair was more than half the cost of fixing a 10 yr old dryer. When she told Joe and explained they were buying a new dryer and he was obviously irritated that she did not have him make the repairs. I chose to cancel my appointment with him to repair my stove. I called Stewart Appliance in Olathe and they came to repair my oven, were very professional and displayed assurance in knowing the product (Maytag Gemini oven). I would have Stewart Appliance return. I would not recommend Joe from Anytime Appliance . |

After my last post, someone told them about the post and he came to the house and gave us back $200 of the $300 he charged. I don't have a problem with that because of the number of trips he made out here, so I have changed his rating to a C. We should not have had to call him 3 times with no response and then wait till the review posted to get a response from him, but he did at least make good on the charges.

On the Emergency service call from 11-1am in the morning they agreed to pay a 100.00 diagnostic fee.We refunded the difference of 200.00 because the freezer died and was no longer repairable.they followed our instructions and none of they food spoiled.we asked them to stay in touch with us thru texts or emails if they could not reach us in person.they never did.I told them if it died again to buy a new freezer.overall they got a new freezer,food was saved,they got they're money back as agreed.

We spoke to the husband before going out to they're home and said he no longer needed us to come out,he got it fixed himself. we called him towards the end of the time we gave them.if he had to leave we could have come out later in the day when he got back home.

I called Anytime to schedule a visit for a problem with my refrigerator/freezer. I spoke to a courteous representative who scheduled a visit at my first available date, which was two days later. They did not show up, and they did not call. I contacted another service provider to take care of the problem. Over a month later, Anytime still has not called me to explain why they did not show up. These guys need to get organized.

He double checked the parts that I had already replaced to make sure everything was put back together correctly, which it was..His suggestion was to replace the wiring harness if the error returned, which it has not..Joe was very professional and new his trade. I will be calling Joe back if I have any future problems.
Description of Work: Joe,.Ran washer though 2 cycles. The LE error would not come up. So he took the washer apart and checked wiring and drum and a number of other things.

Joe showed up after obtaining the problem and the model number for my dryer. He was delayed due to -0 temps and snow in KC but still arrived the day he promised! He found the problem, a stripped knob, and swapped out another knob which worked. We could have ordered a new selector mechanism but chose to see if the unit would function a while longer. Joe gave honest and appreciated advice about our unit and was very professional. He deferred any charge until the failed!! Great service, honest and professional!!
Description of Work: My GE dryer would not operate when the selector dial was rotated to the desired cycle.

Description of Work: Our Jenn Air refridge pooped out... called Joe at 6:30 on a Friday eve and he showed up at 8:30 pm that night to repair our problem!! Great service, very professional, he replaced a relay/3 x 3 starter device on our 6 yr old refrige after testing numerous areas... explained all the issues and was very professional and knowlegable. I highly recommend Joe!!

Description of Work: I had a burner on my electric stove that was not heating properly. I called Joel at Anytime Repair. He was there the next day. He said it was not the burner, but the control switch. He said he would have to order one. As soon as the switch came in, he called me to make an appointment to come and put it in. The next day he was here and put it in. Now my stove works like it should. I would recommend Anytime Appliance Repair Service to anyone. He is prompt, and courteous. He didn't make a mess and was very professional.

I spoke with them and was told they could come to look at my washer as soon as I got home from work. I called and was told they couldn't come due to auto issues, but they would come by 6 the next day. No call, no show, and no answer when I called either. I'm not about to get burned three times, so I'll be looking elsewhere!

My dryer was making a screeching noise, I called Anytime Appliance and Joe was available to come over same afternoon. He arrived promptly on time, took the dryer apart, explained the problem and called to get prices for the parts. He explained which parts were necessary to replace, and showed me the parts that were worn and the cost of each. We negotiated the repairs and installation fee and he left to purchase the parts. On return he replaced the parts and then vacummed all internal surfaces. He was very professional. He also noticed a broken knob on my washer and said he would call me if he came across one. The next day he called to say he found one and would stop by to replace my knob at my convenience. I was very impressed with his service and his follow up call. Will definately call him again for any other issues and have already recommended him to a work associate!!

SERVICE MAN CAME OUT ON 10/19 TO FIX MY WASHING MACHINE THAT WASN'T DRAINING, FOUND A SOCK IN THE MACHINE TUB THAT WAS CAUSING THE PROBLEM AND ALSO DID SOME OTHER TROUBLESHOOTING TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS WORKING BEFORE HE LEFT. HE MADE SURE THE TUB WAS DRAINING, REMOVED THE PUMP AND CLEANED UP THE BUILDUP IN THE WASHER. HE WENT OVER EVERYTHING THAT WAS WRONG AND WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PATIENT. HAD ANOTHER PROBLEM ON 11/14 WITH SOME BUILD UP IN MY WASH MACHINE VALUES AND THE SAME SERVICE MAN CAME OUT. HE CLEANED THE VALUES AND DID SOME ADDITIONAL TROUBLESHOOTING TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OKAY. HE DIDN'T CHARGE ME FOR THIS SERVICE CALL WHICH WAS A VERY NICE SURPRISE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, THEY WERE ABLE TO COME OUT AND FIX MY WASH MACHINE PROBLEMS EITHER THE SAME DAY I CALLED OR THE NEXT DAY. I PLAN ON USING THIS COMPANY FOR ANY HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE REPAIR I HAVE IN THE FUTURE.

I called Joel about my dishwasher. I told him how it was acting. He said he would come look at it. He said it would be about 2 hours before he could get to me. He was as good as his word. He arrived on time. He was professional in his work. He fixed the dishwasher and was gone. He was clean and left my kitchen clean. I would recommend Joel for repairs.

Joe arrived on schedule and determined what needed to be done to get the dryer working. He ordered the parts and came back the next day to install them. Joe took extra time to clean out the area where my washer and dryer are and to install the dryer correctly. The dryer I have is still sold at Nebraska for $540, so I saved more than $300. Joe guarantees his work for 90 days but feels confident that the dryer will run for several more years. I was very pleased with his service.
