I've reviewed this company before and said I'd hire them again. In fact, I did. So why didn't we have Josh and his team do everything in one job? We had a small section of brick siding that extended into a wing wall that was falling down and hazardous. It needed to be addressed immediately, so Josh did. When he came to quote that in late winter, he pointed out some additional areas that would be wise for us as homeowners to address. However, because of budgeting, working with other contractors (to replace our front steps/sided areas of the house), and weather reliant timelines, we chose to only have him address the urgent area. He was thorough in his inspection of our masonry areas and offered honest feedback on what we needed to do. QUOTING: When I called him back to have him quote additional work, he maintained his stellar reputation. Although he had already inspected the exterior of our home for the earlier job, he repeated the inspection to verify nothing new had sprung up that we should address. He was prompt and fair in giving us a quote that was a good price. We only have brick on the front of our house, unless you include our chimney - I somehow managed to forget we had a chimney in the first bid process. So, while Josh was out double checking everything, I asked him to inspect the chimney. It's 35 years old and hasn't had any repair work done on it... ever. Josh gave us some options and added that to the scope. We never considered asking anyone else for additional bids - Josh worked hard for our trust and we happily gave it to him. (NOTE: Typically on any job over $500, we select at least two companies to bid for the work. On the first masonry job we had, Josh was not the only person to bid, his prices and policies were HIGHLY competitive!) SCHEDULING: We fought some spring rain to get things scheduled and when his schedule opened up, we had planned to be out of town on vacation while they were doing the bulk of the work - there would be one day of additional minor clean up after we returned. Again, we trusted him and his team to care for our house like it was theirs. Josh was fine working without us there. We gave him a deposit on the project and agreed that if he needed anything, we'd be available via our cell phones. WORK: One part of the job required them to remove some bricks from the front of the house and rebuild some of it. When Josh ran into an unexpected area that wasn't well mortared or bricked in a hidden corner, he promptly called us, sent us photos, and requested direction while explaining the different options we had and how it impacted cost. We happily chose to go with a longer term solution that added more to the cost of the project. Pulling into our drive way was like a mini version of Extreme Home Makeover! It was so exciting to see how nice everything looked! The front brick areas were repaired, the damaged bricks were gone, the mortar looked lovely. -I really find it impressive how well they match the mortar! They swept our driveway and front stairs. I haven't found a single nail, screw, chunk of mortar, or any evidence of their work in my yard/driveway/etc. They cleaned up after themselves like it was their home! There was a TINY patch of dust in the grass but not a single chunk of discarded mortar to trip over/run over with a mower. OVERALL: I cannot say enough positive things about Josh and his team. From their professionalism and cost, to their skill and cleanliness - they are my favorite company we've worked with on this house remodel. I think it's hugely important to operate a business with integrity and Josh demonstrated that every time I interacted with him. The only downside I can find with them is that they've done such quality work, we may never need to hire them again. Thanks for all the hard work!

If I could rate Josh and his crew higher than an A I would! QUOTING: After foundation work last year, we had a brick wall that was collapsing on the front of our house. It wasn't just an eye sore but a serious hazard as well. Josh promptly responded to my request for a quote, worked me into his schedule, removed the entire wall safely, and rebuilt the wall making it look like it was never damaged. His professionalism and willingness to answer all of my questions was superb. WORKING: Josh and the crew were prompt to do the work, while working within my schedule. They took great care to clean up after themselves. And while they were here, they were the most professional crew I've had work outside my home. The finished product is beautiful! I have neighbors who hired other guys to do the work; however, nothing looks matched and you can see bold lines running through their masonry. Josh has the experience to make your home look great! OVERALL: I have already hired him to do additional brick repairs on other areas of my house. I will happily suggest him to anyone in need of brick repair. The quote was not the cheapest; however, I strongly believe he is the best value!
