All Weather Decks

We had All Weather Decks originally add on to our deck back in 2019 so when we decided we wanted a add on to the stairs and change our railings, you know it we called All Weather Decks. The workmanship and material used are far above other projects I've seen. The guys got to our place did the work in a timely matter. We know if we have any other work done or additions to Deck we will call All Weather Deck. RJ and his crew were the best to work with.

My request was that the deck be torn down and rebuilt to be totally maintenance free. The entire process was efficient and hassle-free. The sales rep, JD, came over to explain the process, brought samples and answered all my questions in an honest and professional way. JD also answered the phone and returned my calls even after the project was complete. I received the proposal electronically which was customizable to add or subtract certain features and the price would reflect the change. I also appreciated that I could make the payments online. Before the project was to start, the project manager (Alex) called with the start date and gave me his phone number in case I had any questions. Alex also answered the phone when I reached out a few days later to check on something. The crew (Diego and Luis) that built the deck were professional, respectful of my property, hardworking and very pleasant. The result of their work was a beautiful, well-constructed deck. The surrounding landscape and rocks were returned to their original positions and my entire yard was clean of any construction debris. I am so impressed with the quality and the appearance of my new deck.

It went very well. The crews are all excellent and do a great job. They make sure that everything is done and tweaked to be done exactly as promised.

Terrible concrete job. Pavers were laid on top of uneven surface. They rock. It took more than a year from the start date to get All Weather Decks to poly-sand the pavers. Alex ruined my patio with a layer of sand that is a mess and it adhered to the faces of 1200sq feet of pavers. This job was more than $100,000. Cass, the owner never once visited the site. These guys are unresponsive to my requests and communication is poor. I would not recommend. If the pictures attached to this review meet Cass’s standards as the owner, his standards are very poor.

All Weather Decks did a great job on our two-level deck project. The original estimator was responsive, stayed in touch throughout the project and responded to questions quickly and clearly. The workers were on-time, friendly, explained what they were doing and cleaned up great afterwards. There were absolutely no pricing surprises. We knew exactly what we were getting and what were paying up front. AWD was recommended by friends in our neighborhood and I have already recommended AWD to other friends.

Great! RJ at All Weather Decks was great to work with and responsive to any questions or needs we had. The crew they had out to work was awesome and punctual. If the crew needed clarification on something they came to me confirm it. We had to make an adjustment to how we were positioning the privacy blinders and they were very flexible and easy to work with.

The entire process was really easy. Our Sales rep, JD, made the experience worthwhile. He was very professional and very responsive to every question or request that we had. He never left us hanging, even after the project started. The crew was equally amazing. They were very professional and communicated with us every step of the way. This was our first deck build and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend All Weather Decks for any project and would highly recommend JD.

We had a deck that had seen better days and the All Weather decks team rebuilt our deck. The service that we received was exemplary and high touch throughout the process. I had a misunderstanding with my HOA which resulted in a delay and All Weather Decks team didn't bat an eye, didn't blame me for the mistake or complain about the impact to the timeline - they just helped with the additional work required to overcome the obstacle and were tremendous partners through out the process. I'm thankful that I selected such an amazing partner to work with, I am extremely grateful for the service that I received from All Weather Decks.

The work progressed steadily. Brett and Alex were great to work with and very responsive. The final product is very nice and I would definitely recommend AWD for this type of project. This is a very good company.

From day one I was impressed with estimate from RJ, material delivery, and next day for tear down went smoothly. The crew was efficient and had the old deck tore down before lunch. By the end of first day, the framing for new composite was built. The next day the crew had the deck completed. I am so impressed with company itself and the craftsmanship. Highly recommend if quality is priority.

Steve (the sales rep) presented us with many options, tailoring the project to suit our needs and budget. Alex (the project manager) was excellent. On time and answered all our questions. Memo (head of the construction crew) was polite, informed and answered our questions. A good problem solver. All in all a very good experience.

Amazing 🤩 I am by no means an easy client and all weather decks specifically Armando Morales’s team handled every single detail that I communicated with them with so much attentiveness, patience and grace. If I have a question, Armando would not only answer my phone calls or texts he would often stop by to explain why we can or can’t do it. His team was fantastic, quick, efficient and got the deck done in no time. We have already gotten so many compliments on our deck and cannot wait to enjoy it during the summer.

We have had quite a bit of things done in our yards over the years and I must say this company is far ahead of some we have used. The quality is exceptional but something you may not consider is communication. That is every bit as important as the work. We definitely recommend All Weather Decks out of Gardner, KS. By the way we had three different crews - one for concrete work, one for paver/stone work and one for the pergola. All equally as good. The project supervisor was excellent as well.

Construction of deck was excellent with knowledge of required woodworking and building techniques and procedures very professional. However, our project needed both woodworking and landscaping and the landscaping was very badly done until we asked for a supervisor to inspect the job. A supervisor named Alex , a knowledgeable person who listened to our complaints, examined what needed to be done, called in the needed experts and finally completed the job to our satisfaction.

We hired All Weather Decks ("AWD") to construct a complete makeover from an old wood deck. We worked with Brett to create a seasonal room designed with multiple large windows to overlook the lake area, along with an open composite (Deckorators-Voyage) deck with a staircase that led down to the open patio. The footing and deck posts were covered with a stone veneer. The construction went well. We experienced a few issues such as clean-up and a damaged door, but they were timely addressed. We cannot say enough about Armando and the beautiful work of his finish crew. He was very professional, diligent and eager to please. He always cleaned up his work area each day. He is a huge asset to the company. We have received multiple compliments. Thank you so much AWD.

Loved the work they did. Have never seen anyone work so hard. Hire Rito - he is the best. If you have to wait to get him - wait. Ask for him by name. Worked 12 plus hours a day. Was amazing. Would highly recommend Rito.

We worked closely with Brett Gibbs from All Weather Decks. He did a superb job listening to our needs, understanding our budget, and proposing an affordable solution. AWD is not the cheapest option but we got 3 bids in total and AWD was in the middle of the 3. That's not why we chose them; in the end, we felt Brett gave us a better design. The construction went very smoothly. They had to tear out a 20 year old wood deck, cut out concrete to set new footings, dig out a retaining wall to add other footings, and pour additional concrete slab (to replace some ugly stone that was under part of our old deck. They were very diligent with everything. It was a mess, but an unavoidable mess. Everything was hauled away very soon after the demo was done. For our new deck AWD installed Deckorators (Voyage) Eovations decking (a PVC based product) and Westbury powder-coated aluminum handrail. We had lights installed on the handrails and an electric circuit installed for a soon-to-be-built-by-the-owner grill island. They also installed a gas line to two spots for a future fire pit and an under-deck space heater. They also installed an aluminum, rain-out under deck ceiling that's been very nice to have. It diverts the rain out from underneath through a downspout in one corner. Keeps it nice and dry underneath the deck. So far it's been a wonderful addition. I like to do carpentry work on the weekend and I just wheel out my table saw or whatever and work underneath, rain or shine. You should definitely consider this option. We had a few issues during the construction that AWD's crews had to address, mainly around the retaining wall. Brett got it all taken care of, always at no additional cost (even though the fix went beyond what was probably expected). Also, we're purchasing our own ceiling fans for underneath the deck and Brett said his guys would come back and install them since they did the pre-wire. So I'm very confident in AWD's follow through on things that inevitably come up on any construction project. So, all in all, my wife and I highly recommend All Weather Decks and, in particular, Brett Gibbs. I'm sure they have others there who are just a good, but Brett's been our guy from start to finish and he responds almost instantaneously to email, phone, text. Easy to reach and very professional.

All Weather Decks replaced our old deck and added a covered portion we wanted. The crews we had on site were professional and efficient. We couldn't have been happier with the way the project turned out. Communication, work, setting expectations, and follow up are all one of the best I have experienced! All Weather Decks Review We had a very large project that involved tear down and rebuilding of four decks at our house. Contacted three highly rated contractors to get bids - All Weather Decks included. One never came back, but the other two were very comparable to each other. As we were discussing various options, Brett at All Weather Decks provided us with enough guidance and flexibility that we decided to go with them. We were very happy with our decision. The process was well scheduled and the cost was close to the original bid even after some added extras we put in there. When any issue arose, we contacted Brett and he would quickly get his crew to address them. The finished products of Trex decking included a screened in deck with a fan and can lights, a large outdoor kitchen with grill, smoker, burner, sink, and pizza oven, two large decks with new aluminum railing and lights inset in the boards, and a smaller deck to match as well as a covered concrete area with a barn door entrance. I would highly recommend All Weather Decks to anyone looking for a quality job to be done.

We had a great experience with RJ and All Weather Decks. From designing our deck to our exact specifications to the changes we asked for, he was gracious and accommodating. The crew who demolished our old deck and rebuilt our new deck with a screened in porch, were very knowledgeable and professional. At the end of each day, they cleaned up their work area and left things neat and tidy. When we reported a concern, Umberto was back within two days to fix it. Everything turned out beautifully and we couldn't be happier. This is a fantastic company to work with. We recommend them wholeheartedly.
