Went quite well. They had experience with older houses and had no problem with my repair.

After purchasing, the fellow (Ron) contacted me fairly promptly and after a little back and forth we settled on a date the second week of June, I believe it was the 12th. The day came and went without him showing up. Since then I have called and left messages multiple times without response. I really wanted to get this work done so very disappointing and a fair amount of effort wasted on my part. I do not have any insight into why he has become unresponsive, but it has come to the point where we have to admit the work will not get done, get a refund, and find someone else rated highly on Angie's List. Thanks, as always, for your amazing service!

I emailed the company twice and called and left 3 messages with Ron Bauer (the name, number and email address provided with the order) and never received a return phone call or email. Because of this I am no longer interested in receiving services from this company.

I had called and left 3 messages and emailed 2 times using the contact info that I got from Angie;s List, but I never received a response or a call back, so I have canceled the deal.

I interacted with this provider over the phone and via email. We set up a date for him to come by, he agreed. The day before the service was to take place, I called and confirmed. The following day I took off work to meet him at my house, he did not show up. I called and left a message. He said his truck broke down, then he never called back or rescheduled. I called and emailed about a week later and we did a similar thing. I set up a date and time, he confirmed, then the date came (he had confirmed the day before) and he did not show up. I called, left a message, but I never got a response. At this point I have no faith in this persons ability to show up, and cannot waste any more of my time waiting for them to do so. I also have little faith that someone how cannot be bothered to contact their customers can successfully do any type of home repair.

Did estimate for deck repairs. Bought lumber and posts. Found help. Finished job myself to economize and apply amount to overhead garage door opener installation est $920.

After I paid for the deal, he called me and said it would be about two or three weeks to schedule an appointment. I have called numerous times with no response. I called again last week with no luck. I have contacted Angie’s List to see if they would reach out to the provider and I have yet to hear anything. He was quick to respond to my initial purchase however I have been waiting for over a month for a service I have already paid for. My initial reaction was concern for the provider but now I am starting to become disappointed in the wait time.

I have called and left several messages and they haven't returned my calls. I am requesting a refund for the purchase.

I saw an Angie's List "Big Deal" for $299 for a General Contractor for 8 hrs. Before I purchased the product, I had the owner, Ron Bauer, come out to give me an estimate on the work I wanted done. On 5/13/14, he was 35 minutes late for the initial meeting (outside of the hour window we had scheduled), which threw up some red flags, but I thought I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. The Big Deal I was planning to purchase had expired, so he told me to wait until the next one would be issued on 5/19. Thus, on 5/19 I purchased the big deal. It took an email and multiple calls to get a response from him; but I was able to schedule an appointment with him for 9am on Friday, 5/23/14. However, he and the crew he promised never showed up, and have not returned my subsequent calls (Friday 5/23 and Tuesday 5/27).

Very poor communication skills.. Ron Bauer would not follow through with his commitments. Scheduled 2 appointments and did not show for either one. No phone call, text, or email either. Will not recommend them for anything.

Ron gave me an estimate for work to convert my screened deck into a 3 season room. I needed siding hung, trim work around the openings for the window openings and additional support under the deck, along with modifications to the deck railing. Ron's crew showed up on time and got right to work. He made sure that all of the issues that I needed to be addressed were done. The crew was polite and good to work with. After each day of work, they cleaned up the work area and removed all of the scrap materials. I am very happy with the work, the price. I would recommend definitely recommend them.

I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal for remodeling/construction work from All American Restoration. This company All American Restoration with a contact of Ron Bauer has given a black eye to the remodel/construction business. After 3 phone messages and 2 email messages and 1 1/2 weeks later I finally was able to get in contact with Ron. We scheduled an appointment for Friday the 16th to go over the work needed to be completed. I took the day off of work to be here to meet with Ron. Not only did he not show up but no phone call or email to let me know he was going to be late or not come. I made 3 phone calls only to be answered by voice mail to find out where he was. Again no return call. I emailed Ron through Angie's List which he finally responded on Monday morning stating that his job on Friday took longer than expected. Still not even a courtesy call to apologize. He said he would call me before the end of the day on Monday the 19th. Shocker-- No call!, No email, No text. Haven't heard from him since. Still will not answer my calls; he lets it ring and go to voice mail. This company and Ron are very unprofessional and lack the integrity to follow through on what they commit to. Since I could not even get Ron to take a look/give an estimate on the work I needed done I have asked for and received a refund from Angie's list. Angies List is also removing this company from the "The Big Deal" list as I am not the only one having issues. All American Restorations review has dropped to a "B" even before my writing of this review. This is the first bad experience I have had with Angie's List and they have actually handled this very well.

My experience with All American Restoration was typical given the contractor field they are in. They were late getting to my house on the day of work. They got projects started at 8:30 and left at 9:30 saying they'd be back at the lunch hour to finish the job. They did not return until 2, but stayed until 5. They didn't completely finish and needed to come back in the morning. They left a mess for us to pick up the first day and when the second day as well. The work done was not stellar, rather average and disappointing. It's my first experience with an Angie's List provider that wasn't stellar. They got the work done and it was a fair price. Those were the positives.

Emailed and talked a couple times. Had initial appt. set-up...he never showed or called...I called to inquire...said he forgot about me and would come out following weekend...no show...emailed vehicle was broke down....here's a copy n paste... Paul this is Ron with all American restoration we had a appointment for today I was on my way when my van blew a spark plug out of the motor I don't get service where I'm at so Im sending this message so that you know what's goin on I will try to call you as soon as I can get my van towed home and get good service sorry for the inconvenience ...that was the last contact we've had...he won't answer phone or call back...what f'n POS! That's why I didn't want to pay before he did job...THANKS A LOT ANGIE'S LIST!! I WANT A F'N REFUND!

it went painlessly i was able to sit in my chair and read the news paper without worrying about them tearing up my house and my bathroom was cleaner when they left than when they arrived great job!!!

We had been living with the results of prior poor construction and the effects of the drought on the foundation of the house and garage. All American Restoration came to us through another contractor and did an excellent job. They were very knowledgeable, talented and confident and provided practical, sensible solutions. They used the proper equipment and had hard working, dedicated, personable, enthusiastic and conscientious personnel. The estimate was reasonable and when they decided a procedure was not required, they reduced the price accordingly. The process required them to dig down approximately 8 feet to provide access for their equipment that drove the piering system down to bedrock and began supporting and lifting the foundation and returning the house and garage to proper position. We were kept informed of progress all through the procedure and were involved in the final settings. Gently, carefully, gradually a wall with rock facing was raised perfectly - not one crack. The floor to the addition is now solid, cracked drywall is now in correct position, counter tops are even, and the door opens perfectly. Garage personnel door operates again.
