They showed up on time and explained their pricing and process completely before starting the job. They were polite and quickly removed all of our items, then swept out the garage! The entire process was quick easy and very professional. I would gladly use their services again!

+ -1 moreThe refrigerator was too big to hual through the doorway. The refrigerator was 28 years old. The workmen dismantled the doorway and refrigerator to remove the refrigerator. Then, they put the doorway back together again. It would have been better if they used a dolly to remove the refrigerator. We then bought a new refrigerator that was smaller to accomodate the doorway.

+ -1 moreI had the garage nearly cleaned out then spent several months recuperating. Mean while the junk I had thrown out the door got snowed/rained/sleeted on. One call and their truck came out and within two hours everything was gone. The place actually looked better than before.

They called me the day before to remind of the appointment, and then called the morning of to let me know when they would arrive. The two gentlemen who handled the job were professional all the way. They looked at the items to be hauled away, then gave me an estimate on the price. They then proceeded to do the job quickly. It all went smoothly, and I would hire them again. I had absolutely no complaints -- they did a terrific job.

+ 0 moreThe truck arrived on time and they gave me an estimate before they started. The men with the truck then proceeded to load almost a complete truckload efficiently. They cleaned up after they were done including sweeping up the driveway. I thought at first that the price was a little high but for the service I got it was reasonable. Also I don't have to worry that the junk was not properly disposed like with some guy from online who is cheaper because he dumps your stuff on the side of some country road. This is a reliable company

+ -1 moreTwo workers arrived promptly and gave us an estimate on the spot, with no pressure to use their services. We authorized them to remove tree debris. They worked extremely efficiently and got the work done in about 1/2 hour. They were very nice and cordial. They also cleaned up afterwards, including sweeping the street by the curb where some leaves and twigs had dropped.
Description of Work: During a storm, a very large branch from an elm tree in our front yard broke off and landed in our front yard. We chain sawed it up into pieces and put at the curb. We wanted to have it hauled that day because we were having a party. We searched Angie's List for hauling options who could come that day. 1-800-GOT-JUNK was one of them and the most responsiveness at getting back to us. When they arrived, they gave us an estimate of what it would cost to have the debris removed. They also gave us the option of saying "no" if we thought the cost was too high. Although we thought it was on the high side, we decided to have it removed because they had been so responsive.

Gave me a bid, and removed the pile of no-longer-needed items I had segregated in the basement. Dropped a few smaller items in the driveway/street that I found and had to pick up later. No big deal, but that's why I gave them a "B' on Quality.

+ -1 moreThe best thing about this company is that they haul the items to the truck no matter where they are in your home. I had some items in the basement and some outside. The crew was prompt and called before arriving. The estimate was right in line with what I had guessed from the website. This was my third use of this company. They are terrific. Period.
Description of Work: Had a variety of old items to be taken away including an old patio set, broken lawn mower and snowblower, a loveseat, some old shelving, and corrugated.

Two young, polite and professional men came, gave us our estimate, and took everything we asked them to. We didn't lift a finger. They were in and out in less than two hours.
Description of Work: Hauled away basement storage room full of old junk from stuff the(now adult)kids left behind, old beat-up window screens, broken down furniture, bent and rusted metal shelving, and tons miscellaneous junk accumulated over 20 years and too crummy to give away.

+ -1 moreThey called at exactly the time the phone rep said they would to notify us of the arrival time. They arrived at the arrival time. The young men were very professional, efficient, trustworthy, exceedingly polite, and tidy. Very happy, definitely recommend! Will use again! They cleaned up the area and it looked better than when they arrived. Our budget is really small, so we went with the smallest price which was one full bed load. It got rid of all of the concrete and some of the rock. Bear in mind that we had the equivalent of six fridges in concrete and rock! These guys worked really hard without complaining or trying to argue me into having them take more of the stuff than I could afford.
Description of Work: We had a huge pile of concrete from a pathway we tore up, rocks, and landscape brick that needed to be disposed of. We picked this company because they had the lowest estimate and they recycle or donate what they can. Had I let them take all of the stuff, they would have taken the landscape brick to Habitat for Humanity or some such place to donate. On their website, they give initial estimates based on volume and a final estimate when they arrive. If you don't like the estimate, you're not committed until they do the work. Our pricing situation was a little different because it was concrete, which is very dense and heavy. We had similar discussions with the other companies from which we got estimates. We were charged by the full bed load. The guy who did the on site estimate explained it very thoroughly. He gave me clear price levels in relation to how full the truck would be and offered to do a second trip (included in the biggest price-which was the max) if we wanted.

+ -1 moreTwo men in their 20s arrived at my house on time, looked at the "junk" to be hauled away, and estimated it would account for 1/3 of a load due to the branches taking up so much room. One of the men showed me a price list that showed a cost of $214 for 1/3 of a load. I was shocked at such an excessive price for so little to haul away, and I told him that. He asked what I expected, and I said about half that. He replied that the minimum he could charge was for 1/8 of a load or $124. I agreed. They loaded the stuff, swept up the leaves, and left after receiving payment.
Description of Work: It loaded and hauled away tree branches, pieces of plywood, a chair, and an ottoman.

Description of Work: 1-800-GOT-JUNK cleaned out debris from a room we were getting ready to remodel. They did a decent enough job but kept upping the price as they got into the project. My feeling was that they were either not very good at estimating or they purposely gave me one price then raised it when they got here with their truck.
