+ -1 moreI have tried to contact Randy almost everyday since 15 April, the last time he was at my house. I have left message after message to see if and when he was going to come back out to the house to finish the job. He started on the pine tree which was not my major concern, I have trees next to my house that needed more attention; they are hanging onto my house. One of my trees was damaged a couple of winters ago and is in desperate need of being cut down. Randy, who said he was a man of his words, surely is a man of no words. I am completely dissatisfied with his service. I can definitely say that even though I have never received a bill, I will never use his services again. Please be very weary of anything this man tells you. The sad part is that Junction City Kansas is a small town that depends on the Active Duty and Retired Military that live in the area and some of these businesses are not appreciative of that. It is sad to think that businesses are successful when they treat people the way that Randy has.
Description of Work: Randy came to my house, gave me an estimate for pruning and removing some tree's. This is the 2nd company I have tried to get to perform this service. Randy gave me a great quote, we shook hands and he was supposed to return the next week to perform the services. He actually showed up 2 weeks later and removed a diseased tree as agreed, but left a big mess.

+ -1 moreI called and left a message on the answering machine. Three days later he called and made an appointment to look at my tree. He never showed up and didn't call to let me know he wasn't coming. I have left four more messages on the answering machine, but he has not given me the courtesy of returning my call. If there is a reason why he cannot do the work, he should at least have the common courtesy to call and let me know. Very unprofessional.
Description of Work: No service was performed since he did not show up for an appointment he made, and has not returned 4 phone calls I have made since then.

+ -1 moreHe does a real good job. We live 25 miles from town and if he can get several jobs in the area he will cut his price. The first time he charged me $700. He asked if I wanted a limb taken down and he said it would be $300 and then he took the whole tree down and didn't charge me anymore. When I called them, they were willing to come right away. A lot of people didn't want to come out because of the distance. I will absolutely use him again and I refer him to everyone.
Description of Work: I used Randy's Tree Service to take a whole tree down.

+ -1 moreThe job went well. The workers were on time and quickly finished and cleaned up the mess.
Description of Work: We had a big oak tree in the front that had lots of dead branches and needed to be cleaned out. Also it had mistletoe that needed to be removed. The job was done, the area cleaned up and the tree looks much better.

+ -1 moreHe only cut down a few limbs in order to get his truck back there, but what he did was to small to actually say. I hope no one ever uses his service.
Description of Work: The owner of the Company Randy himself came out about three or four months ago, and pretty much gave me a very low estimate. So low that I even mentioned that it was way lower than other, and he said, well I have been around this work along time". He said he was going to be out of town in a week and could get started on it asap when he returned. The time went by and I got no phone call back, so I the consumer called him, and got to play the back and forth talk. He told me that he was trying to get the electric company to come out and drop my power line ( the tree was directly over it), so he could drop it without any worries. Well a few days went by and he told me that he was waiting on them. Well the day came that randy finally showed up, and as he was trying to move his truck on the side of my house. The ground was slightly wet and he said he could not do it, but that he would be back to handle the issue without worry. It has been one week from that day and we have had zero rain since the day he left. I have tried to call him Twice and both times, I got his voicemail, so I left a message. Still to this day we has not gotten back to me and I am writing this report, so others do not have to go through this hassle. If you make a bid and you understand, it would be more than you bid, be a business owner and admit you made a mistake and re issue a bid. That would have been better than simply not answering your phone.
