Tom Jellison Painting

Tom and his crew were a pleasure to work with and they did an excellent job. Tom was very knowledgeable and his easy going personality made it a pleasure to work with him. They were punctual, very professional and were very hard workers. I think Tom is someone you can trust to do the job and do it right. I won't hesitate to call them again for any type of painting job. My house looks great!

The job was done in two days. Tom gave us a quote about a month before the job was to be completed. We gave tom our paint colors (uses all sherwin Williams) and on the day of service his crew arrived promptly and got to work. They spent the first day power washing the house and scraping paint, the next day they painted all the exterior, brush painted all the trim, and finished in time to pick up the kids from school. Extremely quick and efficient, i was very pleased to not have the job drag on for weeks.

Tom and his crew were very prompt and professional. They painted our house and stained our back deck. Tom was very prompt, was easy to work with and the job was done in a timely fashion. We would use them again.

From the first contact to set-up the appointment to give an estimate for paining the interior of my home, to the final walk through, Tom was professional and helpful. He arrived on time for the estimate and for the two days that he worked on my home. He completed the job in a timely manner. He was careful to protect my hardwood flooring, his work was excellent, his assistant was also professional and did excellent work. Tom gave me a fair price for the job. I would not hesitate to hire him again if the need arose.

They arrived on time and finished even before anticipated. I am so grateful that they did the popcorn ceilings. I have labored over that myself in other rooms and it just wasn't worth it! Once I had a professional do it, there is no going back. We still have popcorn ceilings throughout our basement, so will turn to Tom and team to take care of that for us at a later date. I will use them again for painting too!

We have never hired someone to paint the interior of our home as we are normally DIY'ers, so this was a new experience. I got several estimates for the job, but Tom seemed most professional, knowledgeable and was very good about giving us an estimate and was able to start quickly. I would highly recommend his company for interior painting, the job was done quickly and efficiently. The cracks in our drywall were repaired, but there were some corners that we were not satisfied with and Tom sent his drywall man out to repair again. One thing that I would do differently next time is to discuss clean-up. Drywall repair is a dirty, dusty business to begin with, but the wood floors in my house were a wreck with dust & mud. Tom was not there for the final walk-through, which he apologized for, but his drywall man left something to be desired. I would definitely hire him again for interior painting because the quality was good and he showed up when he said he would and worked all day.

No complaints. He beat all estimates, was there when he said and completed on time. I would definitely use his services again.

Punctual, neat and very courteous.

My husband and I painted part of the house ourselves but, due to time restraints, decided to call in professionals to finish the job. I called Tom for an estimate and he came by the next day and provided a bid. He and his crew were friendly, prompt, and my husband and I are very satisfied with their service.

Called Monday and he scheduled an appointment for Tuesday noon hour. Never show up or even bothered to call. Guess a bigger project came up and he apparently did not care that I was wasting MY TIME waiting on him.

Tom provided the estimate right away, and the contract was signed. Because I signed in the spring, a 10% discount was given. Tom came in the morning, and the house was completely painted and cleaned up before I got home from work at 6 pm that same day. The only issue was some confusion in the contract re:the gutters and downspouts. Since they were not done, and I thought they had been covered in the contract (make sure you have this spelled out in the contract), Tom had to come back the following week the complete. He charged an extra couple hundred dollars (I included this cost in the $2600.00), and completed the job well and quickly. Basically, he did a great job at a great price ... very professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

The bid process was totally painless. Tom came by the house while we were at work, then sent us his bid. It took 2-3 weeks to get to the top of his schedule but we were not concerned with time. He had his crew out to power wash the house about a week before actually painting it. The day before a small crew was out to scrape and caulk the house. We chose the colors and he got the paint, included in the estimate. His whole crew showed up July 3rd. They took down the downspouts and light fixtures before painting.. The entire house was done in one day. Excellent work.

Tom is very friendly and was to my home the day after the ceiling mishap. His crew were here as promised and work completed when promised. The fellows doing the work were clean and did a pretty good job painting but being a perfectionist about such things, I would say the detail of filling in dents from installation in crown molding could have been somewhat better. Overall, he was a pleasure to deal with work and I would hire again. I would have considered for painting of exterior but had already contracted with another painter when I met him.

We actually signed a contract and he turned me on to this carpenter dude,his name was Kevin Maxwell, and he replaced some rotten wood and did some repairs around the house so that's already done and then he said it's in the end of May or the beginning of next month because the weather had been so bad. He would get it but he did send the contract in the mail and we both signed it. We received the quote was probably about 3 weeks ago, and I think it was reasonable. There was a coupon I bought at Angie's List and I used that. I e-mailed him and he get back to me the next day and then we made arrangements and he met up with me the day, that was a Friday and the following Monday we met here at the house after work and we walked around the house and he, I guess, got some numbers and told me what he thought he could do and I said that sounds great and so we went from there. He were just really friendly and nice and told me he's going to take care of it, he was just a really nice guy and I feel like he is looking out for my best interest.

I think the quality was very good. There were some areas on the house were we change of what it look like and how this painted and some of the things that he put on and he fill the paint that normally was and it really turned out nice. He did a very good job.

Tom drove to the house and sent estimate. Told us when he would do the house painting and did it that time frame and called while on site and asked questions and completed the job in 2 days and it looks excellent.

He had about four guys come over to paint and they finished in a timely manner.

He is very prompt in returning calls, showing up to work, and completing the job. He was very helpful in selecting the type of paint that met our specific needs. He was excellent to work with and we will use him again in the future if ever needed.

It went very well. They were under a short deadline from me and did a very professional and reasonably priced. They have a team approach and are able to get the job done in a quick yet comprehensive fashion.

He did exactily what he said he'd do. Stayed within his estimate. Arrived to perform the work when he said he would.

I could not be more pleased with the service we received. The exterior of the house looks great. I always received a phone call before the painters' arrival, both to power wash the house and to paint. Clean-up was awesome. My deck and porch floor look terrific. All workers were courteous and friendly. The price was very reasonable. I would recommend Tom Jellison painting to anyone seeking exterior painting work.

Tom was very responsive. He went by my house and called back the same day. I had a bid in the mail a couple of days later. They were on schedule, on time, on budget and very professional! They did both exterior and interior painting for me and I am very pleased with their work! Would call them again! They painted the entire exterior of my house and sprayed all exterior doors (inside and out) plus a room inside, repainted trim in another room and did some touch up work. Painted the floor of my screened in porch as well. I thought, based on other bids that I received, that they were reasonably priced and did a great job!

Their price was good. They did a good job. They were friendly, and they worked with me on the price.
