I'm not necessarily overly pleased with them. It was a reasonable price. They charged me $1000 to take down the 5 trees but they didn't haul the wood away. They just left the wood here. It was a horrible mess that spring because it wants to grow so I ended up with like this big bushy tower and it was a real mess. They should haul the wood away or at least warn you customer of the potential issues that can arise out of leaving that. I would probably not use them again.

I bought an old house with two 80- or 90-year old hackberry trees in the yard, one of which was overhanging my neighbor's house. Both trees were huge, and had a lot of broken limbs and rotten wood - very challenging to deal with! And all for a price of about 40% less than the highest bidder!

There were 5 trees on our property needing attention, 1 of which was cut down. They came in like a swarm of bees, with all the equipment they would need, all dressed in matching shirts and hard hats and these people GOT BUSY! It was like a fine oiled machine. In less than a couple hours they were done: the trees were gone and the yard was cleaned up. I'm still amazed how fast, efficient and thorough they were. The price was a big OUCH! but for what they did, I'm not complaining, just pointing it out.

Perfect! Elemer was on the job constantly and knew exactly what needed to be done.

Locally owned and operated, the owner was very polite and offered feedback on what made sense for the work I wanted done. They were able to provide a quote and perform all the work without me being on- site. Price was competitive and service was great. There was no visible damage to my yard or home as a result of the work. Would highly recommend this company.

Called and requested an estimate on some tree pruning and removal. Received a call back the same day. Elmer came out the same day and gave an estimate. It was mailed out the next day so I could share it with my husband. After choosing A-1, Elmer reported that he would call later in the month when the weather was appropriate to do the work. As promised, approximately 3 weeks later, he called, they came out that afternoon and did the work with 4 workers total. Work took approximately 2 hours. I asked if I should write the check, after inspection to my satisfaction, and was told I would receive an invoice in the mail - which was refreshing!

They did not return either of my two phone calls. I would have expected at least a return phone call or explanation (i.e. we are very busy at this time), but nothing was forthcoming. Don't waste your time.

Excellent service in all respects. We called to ask for a quote, and they came out the next day. We thought the quoted price was reasonable, and made arrangements for them to do the job. They indicated that it might be a week or two before they could do the work, but they would try to fit it in before then if possible. That was fine for us. As it turned out, they came two days later, and finished the job. The work was done exactly as we had requested. The yard was left very clean, with no lawn damage or other such problems. We received an invoice a few days later for the agreed-to price, paid it promptly, and came away completely satisfied with the experience.

They were on time for both the estimate and the startof work. They worked steadily and were gone about three hours later. The final price was the same as the estimate We were well pleased with their knowledge of trees and their work.

Excellent service from start to finish, very polite on the phone, called back with a very reasonable estimate, and was prompt in the service given. Highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

They were very careful in the work they did and cleaned up well afterwards. They did everything that was agreed upon in a prompt and professional manner. Would gladly use them again when needed.

I telephoned four Companies from the Yellow Pages. Two Companies showed, both at the appointed time. Their estimator Elmer was not shy in expounding how knowledgeable he was. I was a Certified Arborist & I ran a Tree Farm in New Hampshire, so I can usually separate fact from fiction. Some might be turned off by him, BUT, he does know of what he speaks. The Crew showed up at the appointed time, I was given the heads up as to their time by Elmer, who showed up to reiterate what I wanted done. Estimate of $150 an hour for the Crew, with clean up. Mark led the two others in the Crew & he was the tree climber & cutter. I would HIGHLY recommend that someone specifically request him. He is professional & knowledgeable, worked with speed & grace. They left my trees looking as good as I would have wanted them to look if I had done the work. I plan to have them pack in the fall when the trees have leaves to cut out further dead wood. Bill came in the mail UNDER what I had calculated for the time spent. That was a first for me. My ONLY bad moment came when I called the office to get clarification on the bill, I never got a call back. BUT, that is a small deal compared with the final product!
