Santa Fe Air Conditioning & Heating

Scheduled an AC checkup for my primary residence, a single family home of roughly 1400 square feet. An on-site crew came out where a "senior" technician was training someone new. To be specific, the newbie was doing *all* the wrenching. The "senior" tech was "observing". This crew checked everything out on my condenser outside and found nothing out of specification, including the amount of refrigerant. I specifically inquired about that before they began work, and after. Less than 36 hours later, my AC system is no longer producing any cold air while the condenser compressor is running constantly. I call Santa Fe back and they send someone out to verify and fix the situation. During this visit, the technician indicates the system is almost entirely devoid of refrigerant. After consulting with the home office, I'm asked to be spoken to by the lady doing dispatch and calling the shots. She indicates that since their technicians left the residence with everything working properly, I would need to sign a waiver for them to do any further work. This was apparently because my AC system appears to have a leak. I tried to explain "with proof" how my AC system was working previously to their training crew coming out. I took screenshots of my Nest thermostat showing before and after. She wasn't having any of it, despite this second technician trying to make the situation right while on the call. Luckily, he went ahead and refilled my system. I tried calling back, asking for a supervisor or ownership, but I never heard back. Since the second technician visit, my AC system has been working just as it did before.

Santa Fe did an excellent job. Mark did the estimate and found 2 code violations that we didn't know about for 32 years. His estimate included fixing these for free. We bought the SEER 17 unit American Standard, an 80% 2 stage furnace, and 2 Rheem water heaters. The workers arrived on time and did a great job. They did a thorough clean-up as well. I recommend them.

Mike the Tech showed up on time, called ahead and was friendly and professional. A pressure valve was bad and he replaced it. BINGO. HEAT! A capacitor was on it's way out and had him replace that as well to save my motor. He showed me a couple of other things about my vents I never knew about.. EXCELLENT job. Will call again (hopefully not) if needed. Reasonably priced

The job was more than i had anticipated, so i am delaying the project. The tech that came out was very helpful and spent a long time explaining to my the options. I will definitely reach out again.

Great experience all around. Santa Fe was extremely responsive. My technician, Tyler, was awesome. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and was a straight-shooter. Very honest about my options for repairing the existing unit or replacing with a new one. I would definitely use Santa Fe again in the future, and would definitely recommend Tyler as a technician.

Very knowledgable person sent out in fall to check furnace and run extensive testing. Mike came out in spring to run diagnostics on central air and clean outside unit - again very complete work done without any additional fees added.

Responsiveness was absolutely excellent. I submitted request through Angie's List app at 7am Sunday morning and had a call from them to schedule repair within about an hour. By 11am the repair was completed. Joe was very courteous, explained what he found, completed repair quickly and offered advice for future service. He repaired a short in the wire between furnace circuit board and condenser. Didn't try to sell me on anything else. I now trust Santa Fe Air and they will be my first choice going forward. Timing was probably perfect so I'm not going to expect as fast a turnaround time in the future.

Joe was awesome. Spent a ton of time figuring out the problem. He obviously knows his stuff but was pragmatic in the suggested repair. And he was friendly and responsive. Santa Fe is now our go-to HVAC company.

They did top notch job replacing my AC. After 2 years still running great and maintenance service is nicely done. I am planning on using them to replace furnace, and other inner workings.
