After having been told our compressor was bad and that we needed to spend over $5,000 on either a new AC unit, a new heat pump or possibly an entirely new system, we were in the process of getting estimates when New! Heating & Cooling came by. Zach offered to give us a 2nd opinion for $49 [Looks like std rate is $89 so they took pity on us]. So, with the prospect of spending thousands, we figured a 2nd opinion would be good to have. THANK GOODNESS we did!! $322 run capacitor replacement and BOOM! sub 62 degree air blowing thru system!! Just Wow! Went from zero air flow and stagnant ~87 degrees on our 1st floor (likely higher on 2nd floor) to a system blowing low 60 temps! Went from being told we needed to spend 5+ thousands of dollars to spending ~$371 for diagnostic, part and labor. What a relief. Just amazing.
