Description of Work: Damage from ice dam on the roof. Bathroom needed repair from water leakage, roof needed repair/solution to problem. He came out and examined the roof, tore out the carpeting from the bathroom and helped us put it to the curb; we were VERY impressed with the young man. Told us to give him the paperwork from the insurance company showing how much they would pay. We did. Didn't hear from him for quite a while, then another young man came by, said he was referred by Chris Herron to work on the bathroom. We spent a great deal of time selecting the materials, etc. and were fully prepared to go ahead with the job. Couldn't contact either of the two "professionals". VERY disappointed, they claim to do the work for what the insurance reimbursement would be. Guess ours wasn't enough, even though we were prepared to pay more. DON'T Bother!

There was a major hail storm in my neighborhood on March 27, 2014. My Farmers insurance agent recommended Chris Herren with H & H Roofing. They didn't have too many previous reviews, so I was skeptical. I decided to give him a call anyway. Chris did a roof inspection on April 29th. He seemed friendly, professional and personable. Little did I know that this was only an act to get my business. I was concerned because he didn't give me a bid on paper like other roofers had done. Chris insisted that my insurance would pay for everyting, even if the re-roof was more than the payment I would receive from my insurance company. He said that they could call them and get more money if necessary. On May 5th an adjuster came to my house to evaluate the hail storm damage. I told him that my agent had recommended Chris, and he too said that Chris with H & H Roofiing took care of their customers. A roofer from Christian Brothers came over to give me a bid a few days later. He informed me that my insurance policy didn't pay depreciation, and the pay-out I received was no where near the cost of a new roof. While looking over my pay-out description, he also told me that it looks like the adjuster properly accounted for all roofing costs, which means an additional pay-out was unlikely. Needless to say, I was very upset about this. I only received a little over $4,000.00; the bids I had received ranged from $9,000-$13,000.00. So I called Chris on May 22, 2014 at 12:15 to see if, in his experience, my insurance company would pay any more money in a case like mine. That same day, he requested that I email him the loss statement that I received from my insurance company, and he would call me back. I emailed him the documents at 1:05, but he didn't receive them because of a computer error. Eventually Chris and I decided it would be best if I faxed the documents. I faxed them on May 30th at 9:34 am. I hadn't heard from Chris, so I called him on June 5th at 9:22 am. He informed me that he hadn't received my fax, but he would check somewhere else and call me right back. By 10:14 am that same day, I hadn't heard back from him, so I called him and left a voice mail. No response, so I called him again on June 6th at 9:30 am and left another message. Still no response. I decided Chris must be too busy (or now no longer interested since he thought I didn't have the money or coverage to pay for a new roof), so I called the main office on June 9th at 9:35 and left a message. Would you believe that I STILL have not received a call back??!! No one has called me, sent me an email, fax, courier pigeon, NOTHING! This company is the worst when it comes to service, concern, and respect. It's clear that they only care about making a sale and not providing true assistance. I feel sorry for the people that have given this company their business.
