August 2018 - I have a home warranty plan. I had a fan that was squeaking. My home warranty company sent Arbuckle Electric out. Zack Arbuckle came out. He asked to use my ladder. He said that the fan would need to be replaced. I went and got a new fan and called them back to re-install it. Zack came back out, and asked to use my ladder again. He got up there and put WD40 on it, and said it was not squeaking anymore. I had also done the same thing with no avail. He said that if it started squeaking again, they would not charge me for another service charge. Immediately after he left, the fan started squeaking again. I called Zack and he came back out. At this point everyone in the company was answering their phone. Zack came out to install the fan, and asked to use my ladder again. When he put the ladder back against the wall in my garage next to my freezer, he did not lift it up to go over the extension cord. Needless to say it slide back and opened up my freezer. I did not realize this till days later and lost everything that was in my freezer. I called and spoke to Bob Arbuckle and Danielle who answers the phone. They apologized and sent Zack out to take pictures of the food that was spoiled. Bob said that they would send a check for the amount of food that was spoiled. Well this has been since August 10, 2018, and I still have not received a check for the spoiled food. At this point they will not answer my phone calls. I have called Bob, Danielle and Zack almost weekly since Zack came out to take pictures, and they have not returned my call. I spoke with my warranty company and they said that they have put this company on hold. Assuming for customers that were not satisfied. My warranty company has also tried to get ahold of Arbuckle Electric on two different occasions with no avail. I am still unsure why an electric company would ask the homeowner to use their ladder. Assuming he just did not want to deal with taking his off the truck. If you are ever even considering this company, do your research. Again, they were very accommodating at first always answering phones calls or calling me back. I just wish I would of read all the negative reviews before they came out.

These clowns set hours for the appointments for our area, it is only 2-6 pm weekdays no flexibility. So, don't bother asking if 2:30pm is ok. . Description of work: Arbuckle is the service provider through H.S.A and have been to my house on numerous occasions. I had them come check an outage and look at a connection that was essentially three wires electrical taped together in my basement ceiling. The kid that showed up said there was no problem with it. Then months later when i have another outage issue the head guy Bob shows up and said yeah that's not to code and none of my guys would have said it was... So basically called us liars when it was the main thing we called them out to fix the previous time. This time the fuse was blown and all he did because only my wife was home was flip the breaker say everything is fine and left. Needless to say the breaker has flipped again likely because of a short. It is not going out under heavy use of 2 Ceiling lights and a microwave that is rarely used. If you are not like me and have an option in who provides your service DO NOT USE these guys.
Description of Work: Flipped the breaker to on and left. Guess the thing just flips itself for fun, lets not find the issue behind it.

ITS NOT WORTH TAKING THE DAY OFF TO WAIT ON ARBUCKLE TO SHOW UP. ARBUCKLE IS TAKING THE ER CALLS B/C THEY MAKE MORE MONEY ON THOSE CALLS THEN ON H S A HOME WARRANTY CALLS. ARBUCKLE IS NOT A RELIABLE COMPANY WHEN IT COMES TO KEEPING THEIR APPOINTMENTS.
Description of Work: I HAVE A WARRANTY THROUGH H S A. ARBUCKLE WAS SUPPOSED TO REPAIR LIGHTS IN MY HOME IN AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2014. THEY CANCELED FIRST APPT. COULDN'T CONNECT AND MAKE A FIRM APPT IN THE FUTURE. H S A WARRANTY CALLED AND ASKED ME TO RENEW MY WARRANTY. THEY WERE BIGGER AND SERVICES WERE BETTER AND I CHALLENGED H S A TO PROVE IT. WE MADE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT WITH ARBUCKLE TWO TO THREE WEEKS AGO. ARBUCKLE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE BETWEEN 11 AND 2 ON 1/13/2015. AT 10:26 A.M. AR BUCKLE CALLED TO SAY THEY HAD SO MANY ER CALLS THIS MORNING AND WANTED TO RESCHEDULE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND OR DEPEND ON THEM.

They sent out a total 3 different guys and none of them were able to detect why the electricity was not working. A couple of them came out more than once for several hours at a time. In the end they told me they could not fix the problem. They spent approximately 6-8 man hours trying to fix the electricity. I hired another company who came out and fixed my house within 1.5 hours.
Description of Work: They came out to check on why my electricity was not working in half my house.

They told me that I don’t need my attic fan during the summer and I don’t need to run it. So, they haven’t fixed it yet. That was through the home warranty company and I went through them. They told me that it would be taken care of. So, I called about three weeks ago and they said that they would get right back to me, but they haven’t been out since then or contacted me. We had an argument when they came in. They were supposed to have ordered a new switch with variable speed, but they haven’t ordered it. They are probably not doing it. This started last May. They didn’t even check the switch. They just said that it needed the belt tightened. I complained again right after that. I called them again in June. So, this has been going on and it is October now. I called them a month ago and asked them about the part. So, they said that it would take four weeks to get the part. That was funny because it said 48 hours shipping on the internet. I haven’t called them back and they haven’t called me. I finally got a hold of someone and they said they would do the job. There was one girl who read what was on the computer and didn’t realize what she was doing. Then I found out that the guy told her and she read a quote. They said that I wouldn’t need the switch and I shouldn’t be running it right now. I have a terminally ill husband in my house and I am doing care giving; so I needed it. We have to keep the air fresh and clean. I open all the doors and run it. It’s not up to him to say if I need to run it or not. The girl read right off the script. They sent a guy and he wasn’t here for more than 5 minutes. He didn’t even check the wiring or anything. They came in and put a light switch leaving the bare wires. Then he put the tape over it. He was not following the code. He said that they didn’t have a plate and I told him that plates are 27 cents at another store. My husband can reach the wires and I am trying to provide full care at home. They were not helping me. I have paid the other company who sent Arbuckle Electric twice now which is about $60 each time. So far, I have paid $120 and I am not real happy about that. I could have hired another company and probably finished it long time ago and paid the whole thing. I wouldn’t use them again. They finally got the switch on August 3rd. They said that they couldn’t go up into the attic which I understood since it was hot. I really need the work done now.
Description of Work: I used the services of Arbuckle Electric for electrical work. They started the job in the beginning of summer and we have still not got it resolved.

I have a home warranty company and I submitted a claim with them and they sent out an electrician. They sent out Arbuckle Electric. The experience was fine. The first time the guy came out he couldn?t find the problem, but he rescheduled and came back with some different equipment and was able to trace the problem back to loose wiring in a separate switch.
Description of Work: I used the services of Arbuckle Electric. They came today for wiring for certain switches and an outlet in my laundry room.
