Alternative Window Cleaning

We had gotten him name from the Angie's Booklet, and called him about three times to get an estimate and date. He was slow to return calls and then did not show up on appointment time. The day it was finally scheduled he was 2 hours late. He failed to clean a desk storm window on both our east and west decks, the laundry room window, and a downstairs bedroom window. He also left an outside faucet running so that it was heard inside the house through the pipes. He seemed, in my opinion, distracted and that he was not really "on the job" in his head.

Kind of quick, kinda rude on the phone?. was completely book. Was referred off to have someone do the work by Ken the owner. Thanks for asking when I needed the services performed sir?.. I know your booked until next month but I didn't quite need the services until next month?... but I guess you would have never known that by not asking! Maybe next time,

Very prompt replies to email inquiry and scheduling, even though we've recently experienced a lot of rain. Ken arrived on time, and did a FANTASTIC job. I cannot overstate the huge difference having sparkling clean windows make -- even my kids noticed! We did this prior to listing our house for sale, but I will absolutely make sure it's a priority in our new house as well. It's like getting new glasses -- such a huge difference!

Owner Ken Johnson provided excellent professional service from start to finish. He arrived when he said he would, started work immediately, and obviously knew exactly what was required to get our windows sparkling clean both inside and out. In the course of the job he had to move and replace several plants and items of furniture, and this was done with absolutely no fuss or mess. The cost of his services were exactly as we had been quoted, and considering the quality of the work performed we were very satisfied with the price paid. We would certainly recommend this company and would use their services again.

After 2 weather-related cancellations, Ken Johnson, the owner arrived on time and worked efficiently and professionally. He did a very good job, especially the skylights that had multiple scratches. He was here from 9 am until 1:45 pm and asked us to check his work before he left. He rewashed a few windows at our request and was pleasant about it!

He was wonderful. His name is Ken Johnson. He was here an hour. He did a really good job. He was on time and came with all these things with long handles and he did a beautiful job. The windows look just great. He removed the screens and cleaned down in there. He was fast and good. He was out here last week. He did such a good job, I paid him $125. I will use them again.

Ken was on time, very personable Christian man. Very thorough in his work, polite and professional, recommended him to several of my friends.

Excellent from start to finish.

Ken did an excellent job. He called to confirm the day before and showed up exactly on time. He put everything back as he found it and was very neat and clean with his work. My windows have never looked this good.

He did a great job. He called to let me know that he was going to be a few minutes late. He showed up, spent a good amount of time - about 3 or 4 hours - completed the job & moved on.

The whole thing went extremely well. There were no problems. he handled everything like it was nothing. With the exception of the picture window, he handled everything from inside the house. In setting up an appointment, you just tell him what kind of windows you want cleaned, where they are, how big they are, whether they have storm windows or not and from that he gives you a pretty good price estimate. if it takes you 4 hours to clean the windows, cut that in half for him.

I have never seen my front door's window look better. The sprinkler pounds on it, and Ken removed a lot of the hard water residue. They also cleaned our gutters (they even found a dead rabbit in a gutter). I am very pleased.

These guys came out and did a good job. Cleaned all windows and screens inside and out. They were a little late but all in all I would recommend these guys. They were polite and professional. Best of all they didn't break anything like the last guys.They washed my garage door for free which I appreciated.

Clean and timely. Went easily from window to window.

Mr. Johnson confirmed our appointment by phone the night before and showed up at my door promptly at 9 am. His truck was clean and he looked very professional. I was a little doubtful since the weather had turned cold and windy, but he said it was no problem. We walked through the house, and he revised his phone estimate upward slightly. However, on the phone I had not included the doors or screens. I thought the revised estimate was fully justified. Mr. Johnson completed the outside windows first, then did the inside. He was finished and gone by 11 am. Mr. Johnson was businesslike, cheerful and expeditious. There was no fuss, no mess and the work was completed quickly. Best of all, my windows look great! There are no streaks, no spots, no drips, no chemical smell. My windows shine! What a treat for Spring with very little inconvenience to myself. Knowing now how affordable and easy it is, I won't wait 6 years to clean my windows. I will certainly hire Mr. Johnson again, and I will happily recomment his services to my friends and neighbors.

Stayed in touch as to appointment time and one small delay. Had to re-schedule which he did and then showed up when expected. Worked fast and thoroughly; our glass totally sparkles. He began the job, and finished "on time." I will definitely have Alternative Window Cleaning back next spring (he also cleans decks!).

I called Ken from an ad in Angie's magazine. I called on a Saturday and he called back on Sunday to schedule for the following week. It rained on the scheduled day so he called and left a message that he would be here the following day around noon. He was here sometime before noon. I was gone when he finished, but he was here alone, with ladders and cleaning materials, and must have finished in a couple of hours. The windows look great and he was a nice guy to work with. Very communicative and prompt.

I got him from Angie’s list. He was really good. He was working inside and outside my house, but I didn’t feel put out. That was something which I liked a lot. He worked thoroughly and fairly. He was friendly and nice. It worked out well. The windows were sparkling. It’s so clean; it looks like they are not there. He was really accommodating and really good. It was just him who was working. I would absolutely recommend him. I would absolutely use him again in the future.

Ken did a very good job on the windows. They look great. He had to change the date that I was scheduled due to all the rain and he must be backed up. They would not leave a bill for me to pay and wanted payment at the moment of service which i find a little petty but thats a small issue. The quality of the service makes up for some of their " small " business practices.

We are very pleased with the results. Ken is very professional, prompt, courteous, and friendly. His work is immaculate.
