When I began the search for a roofer, I initially avoided calling Chambless because I had heard less than raving reviews about their professionalism. However, after a month of hounding other roofers in the area to simply give me a quote, I relented and called the Scott City branch of Chambless Roofing. Wow! A crew foreman was at my house the next day and delivered the estimate to my door within an hour of his inspection. After waiting yet another two weeks on other estimates, I discovered Chambless?s estimate was only $100 more than the lowest bidder, and half the price of another roofer who took 6 weeks to respond. I called the crew foreman with questions about the new roofing material before I made my final decision and he spent half an hour explaining the product and procedure for installation. When I called the main office to hire the crew, I was told it would take 10 days to 2 weeks for the materials to come in, and then they would start immediately. 11 days later I had a crew of 8 on my roof at 7:30 am. They worked until dark each day and I never heard the hammers stop all day long. They replaced sub roofing, discussed the installation with me at each junction and did a thorough job of installation with attention to detail. The cherry on top: the bill was exactly the same as the estimate! Needless to say I was IMPRESSED. Fantastic experience.
