TILE AND MORE LLC

After original estimates provided we decided to go ahead with the work. They must have rescheduled twice and were slow once they arrived. They requested payment before the work was done. Unfortunately my wife paid them while I was away. I noticed on the bill they had over charged us by $300 for the work and did not pass on any tile discounts. The quality of the work was bad...they did not remove all the underlay in all the rooms making thresholds too high. In two rooms they used bad sealer that left a fish smell. We had trouble getting them back. We ended up hiring three contractors to fix the mess..one tile guy,,,to fix thresholds and sealer...one carpet guy to patch and repair three thresholds where the carpet was cut too short and had to be removed from closets! And lastly a painter to fix all the trim that was damaged. Everyone that has seen this has been amazed at how bad the workmanship is and can't believe the guy is in business. He even left a one inch gap under one of my bathroom vanities. After several calls he said he be happy to reimburse us for the over charge and the punch out list repair. I sent him a letter with the bills. Guess what ...when I contacted him he said I could direct all further questions to his attorney. The guy needs one!! I plan to call all the tile shops in town as well as the professional associations he claims to belong to...I hope to create as much of an issue for him as I can since he should not be doing this type of work
