The crew was a joke and so is the OWNER !!! If any one would like to personally review this job please call me to schedule a time, I can be reached at 316 644-4797. I would NOT hire this company to cut my yard !!!
Description of Work: George Fosdick did NOT do as well as he personally agreed he is a not a reputable contractor, his WORD means NOTHING !!! He agreed to do a job and to this day it is still not complete if you use this contractor you are a FOOL !!! I was. I will have to take him to court to get this resolved. I have not had time but I will soon. The driveway section he replaced looks like a kid cut stress joint. he was hired to waterproof, straighten a wall, and fix the failed section of the driveway. The basement still leaks, the driveway runs water into the garage on medium and heavy rains. It hFs lifted at the joint where he agreed to pin to existing section and obviously he did not !!! The Broom finish is a total JOKE, Rookies did it, he hires less than capable or competent laborers they all LACK the majority of skill required to do such a job, including crew chief haha some title for a jailbird !!! The Basement floor section that was re-poured over the area he dug up to install inrternal drain tile none of which was connected (have pics to share if interested) as it should be, the replaced area of floor slopes down over an 1.5 drop from existing floor in less than a 36 inch patch, he refused to fix it after he agreed to do so upon final punch list after final payment.

Work began before Thanksgiving and ended on December 5. All the work was done by hand except for filling the trench, when a motorized barrow was brought in. The workers -- 2 or three at a time -- were very professional with one exception, an older man who cursed loudly and teased the other workers in a childish and rude manner. I did not complain about this behavior because the weather was quite cold, so their working conditions were poor; and because the neighbors' kids were in school at the time. If children had been present I would have been uncomfortable. In any case, the work was completed and I am very satisfied with the result. One other thing came up that was unexpected and unpleasant, which was that the adhesive used in sealing the wall had a very strong chemical odor which filled the house, and we wound up spending a night at a hotel to get away from it because it gave us headaches and sore throats. No one warned us about this possibility, and when I complained to George he denied any foreknowledge that it was a possible problem.
Description of Work: Fosdick's crew hand-dug a trench around one and a half sides of my house, sealed the foundation, and installed a French drain to direct water into the sump pump hole, then filled the trench with gravel and topsoil. The purpose of this work was to prevent water leaking into the basement through cracks in the wall. The work is guaranteed for 10 years.
