Description of Work: Can out surveyed never sent estimated and failed to return several calls. I'm not the only person this has happened to. Just saying don't waste your time.

+ 1 moreHorrible experience with this company. In my opinion "DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY".
Description of Work: Hired this company to install a ditch to drain water from my backyard. I ended up with two truck ruts and a cut underground pipe. They told me the job was done because water is being diverted. It looks so horrible that most my neighbors made a point of stopping by and asking me what happened. The neighbors directly behind me installed a fence so their children would not get hurt playing around the so called ditch. I asked the company representative to fix it and he and the owner said no. When I asked if they were going to fix my underground pipe the company representative said they would fix it for a extra $200.

+ -1 moreI no longer use Athan's due to contractual issues. I wanted them to do snow removal under the existing contract and they wouldn't so we parted as friends. For weekly mowing, yard clean-up or mulching, they are great, but I wouldn't sign a contract for services again.
Description of Work: Athans' has a good mowing crew, they are punctual and fast. Their gardeners do a great job, but they do like to put your house under contract, so know what you're signing for.

+ 4 moreFor all pricing, it's always critical to have a detailed estimate. Weekly lawn maintenance is timely, efficient, well done. When there is a cleanup, after a storm, they provide great prompt service. I have called them to remove large branches, trim trees. They are always conscious of power lines and preventing other hazards. Improvements to my irrigation system are a great value, true professionals, they get it done right and never hesitate to address issues A few years ago they put in a zen like garden spot with bamboo fencing and stone flooring. Eco friendly and still beautiful. Office Manager, Deanna, solves problems swiftly w/immediate communication throughout the organization. If she says they'll get done, they do. Quotes, billing, customer service is excellent. Irrigation manager, Randy, is the best. Knowledgeable, practical, responsive, does the installations w/his team.
Description of Work: Athan's has provided everything from landscape design and installation for me for over the past years 3 years. Last week, it was for residential lawn maintenance mowing, trimming, edging.. Overall, customer service, Irrigation and lawn supervision are A+. My original yard plan was done by their then head designer, Marc, who was absolutely exceptional. The design is drought friendly, hard and land scape has held well over time. Athan's crew leaders and crews have very little, if any, turnover.

+ 0 moreThey do a great job. I have used them now for 4 or 5 years. They have always done an excellent job. They have always been upfront about their costs. There are no surprises and you get a nice yard. If they did swimming pools, I would let them do mine. I plan on hiring them again in the future. I know Athan Thompson because I have used him for 4 years.
Description of Work: I used Athans' Services about 2 or 3 weeks ago for lawn maintenance and mowing. I also use them to start up and blow out my in-ground sprinkler system.
