energy audit

+ 0 more.We have been talking to some people about attic insulation. There is a film that reflects the heat right back out of the space in the attic. We found Efficient Energy Savers at the Home / Garden show. They were good on everything except the price. The quote that they gave us was enormous. I started looking on line, it is not rocket science, and it is a simple job which we could do it ourselves. When other people were charging $275 these people were charging $1600 for the same job. They offered a free jacket for the water heater which we did not get. That did not bother us. I thought they were charging way too much. There are many fly by night companies doing this job. They certainly did not respond to the offer to put a jacket on our water heater. I will not use this provider in the future.
