so I called their number and got an answering machine. No problem instead of a message I was going to call back later. Just moved here from out of state and have an out of state number. Moments after hanging up I get this text message "NO SOLICITORS, NOT INTERESTED! Take Me OFF Your List!!!" I'm not a solicitor I'm a POTENTIAL customer. Do they not realize that ppl have cell phones and out of ata numbers??? "Here was my reply: Wow. I was calling for pest control. I guess I'll call arrest a pest instead. Thank you" And "And I'll leave you a review on Angies list" They didn't reply to either message. Do I assume they are so busy and financially over the top that they don't need Alice's anybody else's business. I have kept the text messages and my call log to them as proof.

They came out within 24 hours. Inspection was thorough and informative! The inspector even spoke to us about other pests we might encounter. When we need further pest control, it will be Bug Stoppers.

Description of Work: I called and talked to Gina about getting rid of some spiders. They had one free hour and were at my house at 10:30 that morning. John was very polite and very thorough. He sprayed everywhere possible. Even went above and beyond and sprayed around and inside my outside shed. Will definitely use them again, if needed.

Fantastic. Very easy, fast, no mess. Very reasonable considering everything they did. I won't use anyone else in the future. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Sprayed inside and outside for spiders, crickets, silverfish, beetles and fleas. The owner does the work, very nice to deal with. Showed up on time, delivered as promised. Very reasonable. I highly recommend Bug Stoppers!!!

Response from Bug Stoppers
When treating for Bedbugs, it is a intensive treatment which was explained to the owner prior to treatment and usually requires more than one treatment and typically closer to 3-4 when considering the injustation period of a bedbug... To Effectively treat for bedbugs, you have to treat ALL cracks & crevice's which would included but not limited to ALL baseboards, window trim, door trim, and all outlets/switches along with all mattress/ box springs, plus chairs, sofas, pillows and more. This was all explained to the customer prior to treatment and with a clear understanding, authorized the work. According to my records, we were there 12/2013 for only the 1 treatment. I am glad we were able to take care of her issue with the limited treatment. I am truly sorry if there was any damage caused by the treatment but we were never advised of any issues to assist in correcting any problems. Description of Work: He checked inside and outside to establish where ants were entering our home. He also checked for termites. The provider spent time explaining the best way to treat the ants based on the ants' behavior patterns. We hired him to treat for the problem and have had no issues since. I felt that the price was very fair and the treatment worked well.

We called to schedule an appointment and originally he would not be able to see us for 3-4 days. We told him how much we needed it done asap and he shifted things in his schedule and managed to squeeze us in the same day within 2 hours of the phone call! Before he arrived, he told us how to prep to get maximum results. He arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. I was very appreciative of his ability to work us into his busy schedule. I am very grateful that this gentleman was nice enough not to just come out, bomb my house and charge me. If I ever need a bug guy, this will be the guy I use.
Description of Work: I found a couple of fleas in my house. My cat is an indoor cat. I immediately called Bugstoppers and told him the story. He said if my cat has no fleas, most likely I don't have any in the house, that they may have gotten in on my shoes from the outside. I told him I was on my way to see the vet to find out. He said if she had fleas to call him back. I went to the vet; the cat had no fleas. I called him back and told him but I was still very concerned. He said to put on a pair of white socks and to shuffle around my house in them, especially where she might have jumped off the bed, a couch, etc., or around where she sleeps. He said they would show up on the white socks if I had them. I did this for a day or two and nothing happened. I called him back and he said that he really didn't think I had fleas. That was two months ago and I haven't seen another one since.

Normally I wouldn't go to the trouble of writing a company up for a termite estimate but this one stood way above the rest. I called for a termite estimate and the owner showed up on time, answered all questions and his estimate was a bit better than some others. His professionalism however was unmatched. Unlike his competitors he didn't disturb all of my property, move my detached deck--without putting it back, etc. Bug Stoppers will be getting my business and future recommendation.

Vince did an excellent job! I followed him around asking a lot of questions and at one point said that I hoped he didn't mind me doing so. His response was 'not at all I prefer it, I like people to be well educated so they know what to look for'. At this point he showed me the 2 black widow webs he found and several brown recluse dwellings. Yes the house had both! Since I am new to KS seeing the webs brought up more questions, so I continued to follow him and as I did he told me the climate that brown recluse like and where they prefer to be in homes and signs to look for to see them, etc. He was extremely thorough, very positive, professional and is passionate about his work. I now feel safe in my new home as well as an educated consumer.
Description of Work: I purchased a home and thought it would be a good idea to have an exterminator come before I moved in and I am SO glad I did. I had both the interior and the exterior of the house treated to kill any current "residents" and prevent future ones.
