Worst experience I have ever had with people doing work on my house. They were very nice up front, and provided what I believe is a competitive price. The issue is that In2Gutrs does not do any of the work, they hire out crews to do everything that they have no control over when and if they guys show up. 2 weeks went by after I gave them 1/2 of the cost up front before I called them to remind them that they were to have started the roof 1 week earlier. I was told that they shingles would be delivered the next day, and they were, however the shingle company dropped a bundle of shingles and took out a 12ft section of gutter. I was promised that the crew would show up any day to start the work, and after a week of no show, I was told that crew was not going to show up, and another crew had been hired. They were to have started the job on Wednesday morning July 5th, however they did not show until late afternoon, and basically did nothing. The next day they showed up in the afternoon, and took of part of the old shingles, and then left again. They came on Friday and took off more shingles, but left mid afternoon. I was called on Saturday by the owner of In2Gutrs, and he told me that the roof would be completed by Saturday evening. We were down at the lake that weekend, and when we got home on Sunday the roof was half completed. I called the owner again, and he said that one of the crew members had a heat stroke, so they all left and took him to the hospital. The owner showed up Sunday afternoon with the crew foreman, and it was determined that the wrong shingles were delivered, and they had to have the shingle company come and remove the unused bails of the incorrect shingle, and then deliver the correct ones. They crew then had to remove what they just put down and replace with the correct one. The issue is that they did not get all of the roof done, and we had a very hard rain storm, and we ended up with major water damage to the ceiling of our garage roof, and a small spot in our bedroom. The owner sprayed some bleach water on my ceiling and told me that would take care of the stain, which it did not. How have a bunch of water stains in my garage that I will have to get fixed before we sell the house. The roofers also took out a 20ft section of gutter somehow, but the owner replace both sections that were destroyed. The lesson learned is that never hire a sub contractor for work like this, and only work with companies that do not use subs.

There were a number of ways to approach our gutter situation. Laurie and Jade were very patient, thorough and detailed in their assessment and offering of various options. They are very personable, excellent communicators and interested in quality work. We were very pleased with the array of options they presented; their ability to schedule the work quickly and the final product. The two men who came to perform the work were on time, efficient and pleasant. The price was competitive with the other company who provided a bid. We anticipate other guttering changes in the future and will contact IN2GUTRS first.

They provided an estimate and then the cost came in above the estimate due to their failure to measure properly. Additionally they failed to provide any supporting information for insurance needs and there was a defect and they failed to come out and repair the defect.

They came out when they said they would. They walked the roof and gave me a good evaluation. It turned out that I needed a new roof, so they gave me some good recommendations on who to use.

The finished job's appearance is good; it looks as though it was originally built that way. At first I thought the estimate was high, but then found that other quotes were higher. Also, considering the difficulty (very steep roof) and the fact that it was necessary to hire extra help for the job, the cost was reasonable.

It turned out fine. They came out about a week after I bought the deal or so. I had to call them and they hadn't picked it up for some reason, but anyway, they did make an appointment, showed up on time, and did what I wanted them to do. The price was fine. Their work was adequate, what it was contracted for. There was no cleanup, it was more inspection. I can't think of anything they could do better.

Easy to work with them. Suggested what work was needed. Provided the work professionally. Offered to contact insurance agent when necessary.

They did the work expediently using 50 year Malarkey shingles. We have used them for our house also and the finished product is great.

After purchasing the $99 repair package. We learned that even though they say they service the KC Metro, that does not include Grandview. That is another charge. Then we learned that we have to purchase a package of roofing tiles. There is also a charge depending on how steep the roof is. At the end we were looking at over $200 to replace the 2 tiles. The package we purchased was for minor repairs but I guess we didn't fully understand what is considered minor. We cancelled the appointment. We will request a refund.

Could not have gone any smoother. They came out to inspect the roof and found a couple of issues. They told me which issue was causing the leak. They gave me timelines of when the other issue may need to be repaired without pressuring me to fix it now. They gave me the cost of what each repair would be (which was very reasonable) and again no pressure. They kept me informed of when they would be able to get the job done. No guessing or wondering what was going on. The job itself was well done (i'm assuming because it doesn't leak anymore) although I know nothing about roof repair. Again, no hassle, great price, no guess work, and they fixed the problem. Would totally hire again. Wonderful people.

took old roofing off and replaced with new.carted old off.made sure all grounds around house were clean of nails,tarpaper and shingles.all done in one day.they lived up to there slogan we just want to do it right. my wife and I are very pleased

We have used Mr. Prescott & his In2Gutrs crew for a variety of projects including installation of the Leaf Proof gutter guards (2 homes), roof & gutter repairs, & minor siding repairs. We have found him to be reliable & trustworthy. In2Gutrs is our go-to company for preventative work & maintenance projects. On a side note, during a recent storm I noticed a gutter appeared to be blocked. I contacted Mr. Prescott & he addressed the issue later that day.

I don't think he did much. We have leaks and he wanted to go up there and fix them, but I'm not interested in following up with him. I just had the impression he had the Big Deal to see if he could sell a big job.

Bought the $89 roof inspection Angie's List deal, figuring it would cover the small repair we think we might need as well as the inspection. He called to tell me my roof was too steep so would incur a surcharge for the inspection. I agreed, thinking I would get something out of it. He also said I didn't need to be home - that they would do it whenever and send me pictures afterwards. I thought this was rather odd, as I figured I would need to be there to authorize anything they do (not to mention see proof of insurance before they climb on my roof!) and also wanted to be there to point out the area we think might be leaking. But since I had paid for it... I had originally emailed dates I would be available in June, as my schedule was really full for April and May, but when he said we didn't have to be there I kind of expected he would ignore that and come out sooner. But then the dates in June I had mentioned came and went and no inspection, so I got on here to contact him about it, initially asking when they were actually going to come out. Before he could respond I saw some of the other negative reviews, and figured I would cancel rather than paying EVEN more to them for what I am expecting would be nothing. That's the last Angie's List deal I ever do.

He came and looked at my roof and said there was hail damage and to submit a claim. He then emailed me an estimate to replace my roof. He claimed he'd meet with me to see the claims adjuster, but then he didn't show up because he forgot. The adjuster said they couldn't find any hail damage. So all I got out of the $89 was an estimate to have my roof replaced. Not a good deal in my opinion.

Once it was 30 minutes past our appointment I gave him a call to see if he was coming and it turned out he had completely forgot about our appointment. He then got in his car and headed over to my house. He suggested that I replace the entire roof even though I was only looking for a fix for a specific leak. I made it clear that I didn't have the funds for a full replacement and he didn't seem to want to listen to that.

I just needed a small hole (that I thought critters were using to get in) plugged up. Figured the deal would more than cover that. I was wrong. I did get prompt calls - but they could tell from satellite photos that the roof section I wanted looked at was too steep and they would have to charge me the extra $60. I didn't want to pay that - so again, mostly my fault. He did say he drove past my house to confirm the roof was too steep. So, essentially, I gave them $89 for them to drive past my house and tell me my roof was too steep.

He came out and inspected my roof and took pictures of what needed to be done. He would not give me the pictures until I had paid and charged me extra for my roof being non walkable.

It went as expected and the job was performed well.

They were very nice and responsive, but after speaking with them they said that there would be a surcharge of $175.00 and I do not currently have any problems with my roof, so I decided to cancel this deal.

Contacted us right away, scheduled job, and started when it was convent. Completed within 2 days. Cleaned up well.

Very quick response, they got caught with a sudden thunder storm in the middle of installing the roof but they were real troopers stayed on the roof until they got everything water tight. did a nice job cleaning up. Roof looks very nice.

This went very well for me. Mounting, mudding and painting the drywall took multiple visits over several days, the other work was done when he reached a stopping point for the drywall. The contractor established enough trust for me to give him a key to the house so he could work when I was out of town. The contractor effectively communicated with me when deciding on the work and offered helpful suggestions on which faucets to buy for my bathrooms. He is very familiar with what kind of faucets are available and his suggestions saved hours of shopping.

It was pretty good. He gave me an estimate. They didn’t try to upsell anything. They did a good job on the estimate. The quote seems like a fair market price compared to other competitors. He came in and replaced the roof and they did the job within 2 days.

Overall it went good. It was the typical scenario where the owner gave the quote and then a contracted group of laborers showed up to do the actual work. They left a good amount of roofing nails in the yard but that is almost unavoidable. When I needed service after the fact they responded.
