drain cleaning
+ -1 moreWe noticed a strong sewer smell coming from our basement powder room and called Reddi. They offered to send someone that same evening for a free inspection. They did not show up for the inspection as promised, but did eventually call that evening to reschedule for the next day. The next evening, the service person showed up approximately two hours later than scheduled, but was very nice and professional. He determined the problem and gave us suggested solutions. We have used Reddi before without complaint.
Description of Work: The service person inspected the toilet, sink and basement drains.

drain cleaning
+ -1 more... my husband, as he was the one who had received the different quote, but she would not, so I told her I would call him and call her right back. After a quick call to my husband, I phoned the company back, and the employee who answered my call was the same who had given my husband the $185 quote. He explained that the $185 was an hourly rate, but that there was an hour-and-a-half minimum, and therefore the charge would be $261.50. I asked them to go ahead with the procedure, but when he contacted the serviceman, he had already left the property (although it had been literally one minute), and had to reschedule for later in the day. The following day, the tenant told us that again the procedure was unsuccessful and that again, the serviceman had said he would call us to explain. But we never heard from them again. So in short, we're out $360, the drain is no different than before we phoned; we received misleading quotes, no follow-up, and surly customer service. Grade F!
Description of Work: We contacted the company on a Wednesday evening to unclog a basement drain at a tenant's house (at a cost of $99). The serviceman was unable to fix the drain and told the tenant he would call us to explain, but we never received a call. Instead, we found out only several days later when we followed up with the tenant to make sure all was well. My husband called the company and asked for an explanation. They said the serviceman tried to call (although the number he had was my cell, which was working perfectly, and I had no message). They recommended a further service that would cost $185, which we okay'ed. A few days later we received a call from the company saying the serviceman was at the house and that the charge would be $261.50. I told the caller that my husband had been quoted $185; she transferred me to Gina, who was abrupt and rude and insisted that it was always $261.50 and did I want the service or not? because the serviceman had other calls to attend to. I asked her to call..

+ -1 moreI CALLED IN THE MORNING AND DID NOT EXPECT THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO GET SERVICE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. TO MY SURPRISE, THE SUPERVISOR RETURNED MY CALL WITHIN AN HOUR AND TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD BE AT MY HOUSE IN THE AFTERNOON. LATER IN THE DAY, THEY CALLED AGAIN TO TELL ME THE PUMPER HAD BEEN DISPATCHED AND WOULD BE HERE IN APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES. ABOUT 30 MINUTES LATER, THE PUMPER ARRIVED WITH TWO GENTLEMEN AND THEY COMPLETED THEIR WORK IN ABOUT AN HOUR. THEY WERE POLITE AND EFFICIENT IN GETTING THE WORK DONE.
Description of Work: I CALLED REDDI ROOT'R FOR A TANK PUMPING AND WAS QUOTED A PRICE OF $180 FOR A 1000 GALLON TANK. MY TANK IS A 3000 GALLON UNIT AND I EXPECTED THE PRICE TO TRIPLE AND WAS NOT WRONG. THE TANK WAS FULL, AS EXPECTED, AND THE PRICE WAS IN LINE WITH WHAT I EXPECTED ALTHOUGH A VOLUME DISCOUNT WOULD HAVE MADE ME HAPPIER.

+ -1 moreREDDY SERVICES WAS PROMPT FOR THEIR APPOINTMENT. WE REALLY CAN TELL THAT THE HYDROJET PROCESS ON OUR LATERAL FIELD HAS CLEANED THOSE LINES AND MADE OUR WHOLE FIELD EFFECTIVE AGAIN. THIS IS WITHOUT THE COST OF DIGGING THE SYSTEM UP. HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED.
