Description of Work: I had GREAT professional service at a very fair price that I've used Heartland twice and plan to use them again. In finishing my basement, the first job was to move & re-pipe the hot water heater, install plumbing for an ice maker and re-route additional water lines in preparation of finishing my basement. The second time I've used Heartland was to perform rough-in of water and drain lines for the basement finishing project and included drains for shower, toilet, vanity and wet bar sink. In addition additional water lines for shower, vanity sink, toilet, an additional ice maker and wet bar sink. I will use Heartland for installation of the shower, toilet, (2) sinks and disposal during the final finishing of the basement. Quality workmanship, prompt and professional service

 + -1 moreThe job went as planned. The cost was the same as the original estimate. This was an installation of a complete heating & air conditioning system in a 1930's home.
Description of Work: I had Heartland put in a complete new central air and heat pump system. I priced 3 suppliers and they were the the low bid. I also quized them on their bid and installation techniques prior to giving them the job. They did an excellent job working with an old house. The install was on time and within the budget. I've called them 2 times for service and they've always fixed the problem promply.

Description of Work: Unclogged the condensation line on our A/C, which was backing up water all over the basement floor.

 + -1 moreMy central air conditioning unit was not working properly. The repairman showed up the same day (no other service I called in town could get me in for at least a couple of days), and checked the system. He discovered that the system was a pound low on freon. He added the freon and checked for leaks. None were found. The system has operated fine since then. Their receptionist was polite when I called and they performed the service at a very reasonable price. Great work!
Description of Work: Central air conditioning inspection, service and fill with freon.

After explaining my problem Valarie immediately said I needed a new thermocouple & quoted $170.00 (parts & install). She was very friendly & helpful! Ultimately I found another provider through Angie's List that was $50 cheaper.
Description of Work: Rec'd a quote for a pilot light that wouldn't stay lit on my water heater.

drain cleaning
 + -1 moreI HAD COMPANY COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN AND MY KITCHEN SINK WAS STOPPED UP AND I STARTED PANICKING. I CALLED HEARTLAND AND THEY CAME WITHIN A HALF HOUR FROM THE TIME I CALLED THEM. THEY FIXED THE CLOG AND I WAS HAPPY.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE METICULOUS IN THEIR WORK, DOUBLE CHECKED THAT THERE WERE NO LEAKS AND THE WATER HEATED PROPERLY, EXPLAINED THE FUNCTION AND SETTINGS OF THE WATER HEATER, AND WERE EXTREMELY COURTEOUS. THEY ARE A COMPANY OF INTEGRITY -- WORKING WITHIN THE TIME AND FINANCIAL CONSTRAINTS THAT WERE QUOTED TO US. THEY WERE RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND, AND WE HAD USED THEM PREVIOUSLY. THEY WILL BE OUR FIRST CALL NEXT TIME WE NEED A PLUMBER OR AC/HEATER HELP.
Description of Work: WE HAD PURCHASED AN ON-DEMAND, TANKLESS, PROPANE WATER HEATER. HEARTLAND REMOVED OUR OLD, ELECTRIC, TANK-STYLE WATER HEATER AND CONVERTED US TO THE NEW, PROPANE, TANKLESS SYSTEM. THEY HAD TO RUN NEW PROPANE PIPES FROM THE AC/HEATER SYSTEM THEY INSTALLED FOR US ALMOST A YEAR BEFORE.
