Located at the NW corner of 7th and Market Streets in downtown Osage City, Buenger Automotive and The Body Shop is the areas only full service automotive repair, collision repair, and towing company. Our shop is located in what we think is the oldest building is Osage City. Originally a blacksmith shop in the late 1800's, eventually it became a welding shop and then a body shop. Lawrence Buenger became a partner in The Body Shop in the early 1970's, eventually becoming the full owner with wife Susan in the early 1980's. In 2003, after serving the community strictly as a body shop for several decades, the Buenger's expanded to add automotive repair and towing services as well.

"I called to set up a time and get a price quote. I spoke to a very professional sounding young man. It wasn't an emergency so the next appointment they had wasn't for five days. The quote was reasonable. The person I spoke to was unfamiliar with the discount offered to Angie's list members. He had never heard of it. He finally agreed to text his boss to find out more but hadn't heard back when we spoke later-- about whether I would be given the discount. He didn't even know what Angie's list was and said, "if that is a deal Angie's list has, they will have to give you the discount." So, he didn't know how it worked. It clearly stated on the Angie's listing for Rueschhoff Locksmiths that a discount is offered. I did schedule the time but later found another company that could come the next day (rather than waiting five days) so I cancelled the appoint with Rueschhoff. I have used Rueschhoff Locksmiths before and found them professional and fairly priced. I just wish the young man I spoke with was familiar with the discount and not quite as short about it. I will likely use them in the future."
