 + -1 moreBids were close, but reputations were not. That is why we chose Waldorf-Riley. Well worth it. Good response, answers questions without making you feel like you are uninformed. Any issues taken care of without question. Installation went fine and on time. Price rights, rebates good. Units (both heat and air) function as advertised and stated by contractor.  + -1 moreI'm not sure what has happened to this company. We used them for many years but for the last few, they have missed the boat. They were suppose to install the stove. When they showed up, the didn't have all the parts. We waited but they never showed back up. We called and called but never got a response or a service call. We ended up purchasing the additional parts needed for the install. Upon removing some of the already installed parts, we found they had installed used parts. When we began the project of building our home, we had planned on Waldorf Riley doing the HVAC work. they came and gave us an estimate for the work, We agreed on the price and planned on them being the HVAC contractor. When the time came in the construction phase for the vent work to be installed we couldn't get them to call us back much less start the work. We ended up having to do a rush search for another HVAC contractor. I would not recommend this company or their products. They may have done a good job in the past, but for the last 2 years they have become completely unreliable.
Description of Work: We purchased a Lennox pellet stove from them last year for installation into our new home. the owner of the company assured us that although they were no longer selling pellet stoves, they would service them. They are the only authorized Lennox dealer in our area. The stove worked for one winter but when we turned it on this year, it won't stay lit. We contacted Waldorf Riley to do the warranty work on it. They came down once and replaced some electrical components on it (warranty is 2 years from installation date on electronic components). The repairman said it was fixed and left. It stopped working 20 min. after he left. We called Waldorf Riley to let them know it still wasn't working. The lady on the phone informed me that I needed to deal with Lennox directly and gave me the number. I asked for a list of parts that had been replaced. It was determined at that time that they would take no more responsibility for the stove. When I complained that they had dropped the ball on this stove she hung up on me. I called Lennox and they informed me that I had to deal with the dealership I purchased the stove from. Now I am stuck with a $2300 stove that doesn't work and no one to do the warranty repairs on it.
