I thought the price was very fair and I liked their ideas for the landscaping. Immediately he gave us a quote so he was prompt at that. There was not too long of a delay in getting started. The actual landscaping looks good, but there were a couple of minor things they did not do. One was an end drain and a sprinkler. It took five phone calls for us to get them to come back out to fix this $5 part. It just became a hassle and communication became hard. It seemed like the couple of things we had a problem with took call after call after call to get a response. It kind of soured us on the whole experience. They finally did come out and fix it, but then they sent us a bill for $89 for a service call -- on top of the $5,000 we had already spent. I called them and they said it was a clerical error and removed that charge. But, again, it was another phone call to try to get something fixed. We would probably not use them again and probably not recommend them. They could have had better communication. The finished product looked good. We had gotten other quotes and I thought price was very fair.

I emailed them for an estimate. They called 3-4 days later to set up an appointment. My options were to pay them $150 to come out and do the estimate, or I could go to them for free with my measurements and layout drawn out for them. I thanked the gal for her time and said no thank you. She asked why, I told her other contractors came out for free for the same thing. We did not want a landscape design. She wanted to be competitive so she said they would come out for free for this simple job. I had to give her whatever info I could over the phone, including what kind of stamp I wanted, without seeing a stamp or color chart. She arranged for someone to come by the next morning when we were not home to do the estimate. The quote was nice, very detailed and professional with a drawing of the work on it. However, their price was double what others were charging. I didn't like that there was no personal interaction. The others we spoke to came out right away and were very friendly and helpful. David did have some advice to us on what to watch out for with other contractors, which I appreciated. But our other bids took the same issues into consideration. I was disappointed, I wanted to use a local vendor for the job but can't justify double the price. I have seen his work in person, he did a neighbors patio and it's beautiful. Our neighbor was thrilled with the work.

They were really good. They were prompt and did a quality work. We will use them again in the future.
